Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 7
Strong, fruity aroma has a yeasty overtone and a malty hint. Pours a slightly hazy solar yellow with a whitish head that departs rather quickly. Lip-smacking fruity flavor has sour apple and hop-bitter undertones plus hints of malt and butterscotch, a touch of sweetness that nicely balances the sour and bitter. Smooth texture has good body, but fizz is lacking. A tasty tripel, worth seeking whilst it’s available.

Somewhat hazy golden yellow with small white foam head. Aroma is bit weak, low bitter, also sweet. Not caramel, more like orange. Taste is bitter, again not too much. Some sweetness precent. Short bittersweet aftertaste. (Houston 201301)

..I think I swallowed a toothpick! .. . Pours a lightly hazed gold peach .. very very light foam .. . yeast, banana skin, bitter honey, and bitter flowers .. . has a touch of booze in the mouth, medium to long bitter finish .. . pretty good brew, if i had the funds, would love to get a couple more to age to see where it goes, i'm sure this will improve greatly .. . . Poured a hazy golden yellow with a one finger white head that slowly subsided to a minimum. Decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, earth, banana, fruit, and subtle alcohol. The flavor was of sweet malt, earth, spices, banana, fruit, and subtle alcohol and wood. It had a light feel on the palate with medium carbonation. The boozy note on it was just a little much with the subtle flavors going on which were not able to balance it out. Overall a nice enough brew thats worth trying if you get the chance.

A fairly traditional tripel...a bit on the dry sweet and perhaps a touch sweet for the Belgian standard, but they got the style down pretty good. Classic nothing wrong beer that was quite good, but didn't wow me. Worthy of a bottle, but an anniversary?

22oz bottle. Pours hazy straw yellow with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is stinky musty yeast, bready malts and some bananas.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with some spices and bananas with a bit of a hoppy finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, an OK tripel. I liked this better on tap. This seems too sweet with too much banana.
