Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Very noisy ½” cap produced on pour that sits a top of an ice tea colored beverage. Aroma is very tart with many white wine elements, pretty much almost exactly like white wine, elements of the oaky rye are noticeable in the nose. Tart crisp taste with a lip smacking dryness after the swallow. White wine with oaky vanilla flavor and wow the 12.2% is completely hidden. The dry thin flavor works for me in this brew, I’m just loving the tart grape flavours mixed with oak and very light rye. After taste hits a slight peat element and this also works.
