Midnight Brett is chocolate brown in color, brewed with 2-Row, Midnight wheat, raw wheat and rye malt. It was hopped with a blend of Perle, Glacier and Simcoe hops. The beer was fermented with our house strain of Brettanomyces in stainless tanks. The finished beer has the aroma and flavor of fresh berries, sour cherries and a slight roasted character. The finish is pleasantly tart and fruity making this beer very drinkable.

Pours an opaque chocolate brown with a thick light tan head. Malty aroma has firm chocolate and sour fruit notes. Flavor has nice malty, caramel, roast coffee, sour fruit and chocolate notes. I have had sour beers that make you exercise facial muscles you didn’t know you had, and this is not one of them - the tart note is subtle rather than ferocious. Texture is firm, smooth, a bit dusty, and somewhat fizzy, leaving a tart and almost mocha-like finish. Enjoy any time of day.
