Golden Brett is a dark golden colored beer, brewed with Victory, 2-Row and Red Wheat malt. It was lightly hopped with a blend of Northern Brewer and Simcoe hops. The beer started it’s primary fermentation in a stainless tank and finished fermentation in a 800 gallon oak foudre. The finished beer has fruity nose and flavors of citrus, apricot and bread crust. The mild tartness of the beer gives way to a long, clean finish.

Bottle - 375mL corked and caged. Bottled on July 1, 2015. Gold pour with a tall, dense, foamy white head. Aroma is very funky and yeast with fruit and wet oak. The flavor profile starts off with funky yeast and then brightens up with lots of fruit notes, apricot jam, tart fruit, light wood and soft earthy notes. Body is medium with a strong, bubbly carbonation. Slightly dry finish as well. Ends with bigger fruit, funky yeast, floral notes, earthy notes and soft woody notes.
