Sampled on tap at Beer Revolution on 9/10/2011. This sour ale pours a reddish amber color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, sweet, tart and cherry. A medium bodied fruit beer/kriek. The malts are cherry, fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. This beer is not really all that tart or funky, yet. It still mostly a fruit beer. A nice fruit beer, but still a fruit beer. I think some additional barrel time will help this beer a lot. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
