This beer can be deceptive. It is golden in color and light in body - but it clocks in at 7.5% abv! It is brewed with Belgian Pilsner malt, European Noble hops and a special Belgian yeast that produces a wonderful softness to the beer and imparts subtle grape, peach and apricot flavors. Our friend Adam Tolsma, the beer guy at Green's Package Store, came down one day and brewed with us. A "Grand Cru" is what ever a brewer (or winemaker) thinks is his best offering. Since this was Adam's first - and probably only - beer we thought he should call it his Grand Cru!

Comes out of the tap a hazy bright golden with a fine-bubbled off-white head. Malty, fairly sweet aroma has a hint of yeast. Flavor is malty and a little candy-sweet with a yeasty undertone. Edgy, fizzy texture leaves behind a good tingle and just a little sweetness.
