This release is the third beer in our Matriarch Series. After releasing the Queen's Grief and Pankhurst IPA, we realized that we were steering towards influential women throughout history as a theme, so we wanted to continue that. As this is a Russian Imperial Stout, what better lady to name it after than Catherine the Great. The Empress of Russia from 1762 until 1796, Catherine was a brilliant leader and thinker.
