We brewed up a simple blonde ale then added beautiful complexity with an infusion of Kenyan Kibugu coffee from out friends at PennyCup Coffee Co. Next, we added cacao nibs to further complicate the mix. The result was a less-than-simple coffee, chocolate blonde ale. The beer pours a dark straw color and the aroma of fresh-brewed coffee will greet your nose. The sip starts sweet, but the bitterness of the chocolate will linger on your tongue.
