A not so traditional Irish Red, this aromatic blend of specialty malts and noble hops is Milton's first award winning beer! A remarkably easy drinking amber ale, with full body flavour. Silver Medal - 2015 Ontario Brewing Awards Brewed to reflect a long tradition of Irish Ales, this red is an aromatic blend of specialty malts and noble hops. A remarkably easy drinking beer, this is a pint that would make any Paddy O’Donoghue proud!

The beer pours a clear dark red colour with a thin tan coloured head that doesn’t last very long. The aroma was toasted bread, light notes of caramel, grains, nuts, and yeast. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was caramel, some sour grains, and a weak herbal hop finish. Another miss by my local brewery.
