526 | Mill Street Organic Oktoberfest | Canada | Marzen / Oktoberfest | 2.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 This is another in a long list of orange coloured beers that I have tried through the years. The aroma is primarily hoppy, but there is some graininess. The flavour is slightly bitter, with a little spiciness, but again, there is graininess. |

528 | Brew Brothers Ambush India Pale Ale | Canada | IPA | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 This an orangy-gold beer which had a huge white head. The aroma was a mixture of roasted malt and citrusy hop tones. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with weak carbonation. The flavour was rather boring, some malty flavour up front with a weak kick of hops in the background. Not really an IPA, and certainly not much of an ambush! |

529 | Brew Brothers Black Pilsner | Canada | Schwarzbier | 2.7
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 This beer is aptly described as coca-cola black with a thin tan-coloured head. In fact, from a distance, it appears to be coca-cola. The aroma was very very weak. Some malt and coffee tones, but not much else. The mouthfeel was only slightly more viscous than water. The flavour was very weak with some malt hints. |

530 | Brew Brothers Antonios Original Garlic Pils | Canada | Spiced Beer | 1.0
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 I've read other reviews of this beer on other beer sites, and I don't feel so bad slamming this because everybody else has. The nut that thought of this idea should be lock-up in a jail cell full of garlic and see how long he lasts. This is a pale gold beer.....with a garlic clove on the bottom. The aroma is.....surprisingly...........heavy on the garlic. The flavour is......surprisingly.......heavy on the garlic. I have no choice but on a scale of 1 through 5, to give this 1 garlic clove! |

531 | Big Rock McNally's Extra | Canada | Irish Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 This is a beautiful see-through reddish beer with an off-white head. Teh aroma is strong on the malt with very little hoppy tones, if any. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, maybe a little high in carbonation. The flavour is a bit boring. More malrt than anything else with a hint of spice. |

532 | Big Rock Warthog Ale | Canada | Brown Ale | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 This is Big Rock's version of Newcastle Brown Ale, only it's a superior brew in my opinion. The beer is brown with a tan coloured head. The aroma is malty and nutty with a slight hoppy hint. The mouthfeel is creamy with just mild carbonation and a dry bite. The flavour is nutty with a nice hoppish bite. |

533 | Big Rock Traditional Ale | Canada | Amber Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 This beer is a reddish copper colour with a thin white head. The aroma is very malty with some caramel and hoppish tones. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied and mild carbonation. The flavour was a combination of toffee and malt with a finishing kick of bitterness. |

534 | Big Rock Grasshopper Wheat Ale | Canada | American Wheat | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 This is a golden-yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is weakly malty with just a hint of wheat. The mouthfeel is thin, with champagne-like carbonation. The flavour is complex, malty, hoppy, and wheaty tones all come through resulting in a very drinkable beer. |

537 | Alley Kat Full Moon Pale Ale | Canada | American Pale Ale | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 This is an orange coloured beer which has a very hoppy aroma. The head was white, thin, and stayed with th beer all the way down. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, carbonation is mild, and there is a bitterness on the tongue. The flavour is hoppy, malty, and a grapefruit twist. |

538 | Alley Kat Olde Deuteronomy Barleywine | Canada | English Barleywine | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 This beer appears copper coloured in the glass, off-white head, very attractive. The aroma is hops and caramel with some hints of malt. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, mildly carbonated, and dry. The flavour is hoppy with a white grapefruit finish. |

539 | Westvleteren Abt 12 | Belgium | Abbey Quadrupel | 5.0
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10 The so-called Holy Grail of brews. I'm not sure it's as good as their cousin's abbey quadrupel down the street at Brouwerij St. Bernard, nonetheless, it's a mighty fine brew worthy of the acclaim it's been accorded. An excellent sampling of the finest trappist ales one can buy (even if you have to jump on a plane and go to a conference in Belgium to get some). |

540 | St. Bernardus Tripel | Belgium | Abbey Tripel | 4.9
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10 Another true great beer produced from within the brewery walls of St. Bernard. It's a known fact that St. Bernards carry this brew in their casks and not brandy (or at least that is what I want to believe). The beer pours a murky golden brown with the same generous head of the Abt 12. The flavour is more malty than the Abt 12, and a tad less creamy |

542 | St. Bernardus Abt 12 Special Edition (60th Anniversary) | Belgium | Abbey Quadrupel | 5.0
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10 I was fortunate enough to have a Belgian friend send me a bottle of this, and after trrying it, he instantly became my best friend (I haven'ttold her yet). This is every bit as good as the non-special edition of this brew. Again, I highly recommend if you can still get a bottle...go for it. |

543 | St. Bernardus Abt 12 | Belgium | Abbey Quadrupel | 5.0
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 10 I've had the opportunity to try both this beer and the exalted emporer of them all the Westvleteren 12.............and while it's close...I prefer this as the real King of Beers. A dark brown beer with a yeasty smell and a tan coloured head that lasts longer than the Vietnam war. The mouthfeel is creamy, full, and the perfect hint of CO2. The flavour is heaven. The monks really know how to do it! |

546 | Carling Draft | Canada | Pale Lager | 1.3
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 This is a shitty beer. It's awful. This is one of those beers that I heard a lot about on the radio, but didn't live up to the hype. Having the Carling name told me right away it was a Molson budget beer. The lack of aroma, and stenchy taste confirmed the word 'budget' |

547 | Carling Black Label | Canada | Pale Lager | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 I first tried this beer when Carling was Carling O'Keefe, and the label was the black badge on a white bottle. This is one of those comfort beers one comes to enjoy. It's a pale gold lager that is truly enjoyable. The aroma is more malt than hops and the flavour backs that up. |
