326 | Whistler Lost Lake Unfiltered IPA | Canada | IPA | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The brewery describes this beer as having 75 IBU, but I didn’t find it bitter. It’s a murky amber coloured beer with a weak off-white head, and plenty of effervescence. Citrus and grains dominate the aroma with the flavour being a mild hop finish that come after a biscuit malt front. Not a bad beer, but not something I would buy over and over again. |

327 | F & M StoneHammer Oatmeal Coffee Stout | Canada | Oatmeal Stout | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 I’m not all that impressed with the F&M Brewery as I feel their beers lack complexity. This is a fine example of a beer that lacks complexity as the roasted malt is expected to carry both the aroma and the flavour and it falls short for me. There needs to be more of a coffee/chocolate note to make this a winner. |

328 | Muskoka Shinnicked Stout | Canada | Stout | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 A very dark black stout with a creamy beige head. Muskoka has been known to be hit and miss on beers, and this is a miss in my opinion. It lacks balance. There is a lot of bitterness in the aroma with hints of coffee and roasted malt, but the flavour is a tad too sweet for a stout with fruity and milk chocolate notes…..but it isn’t a milk stout. |

329 | Mill Street Pilsner | Canada | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Came in an undersized bottle, and with it came undersized flavour and aroma. The beer is golden yellow in colour with a white head. The aroma was slightly hoppy, although not florally hoppy. The flavour was also slightly bitter, but nothing impressive. |

330 | Allagash White | United States | Witbier | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 5 This is my first Allagash brew, and I must say that I'm a little disappointed. It pours a hazy golden yellow topped off by a snow white cap. Lots of citrus and wheat in the aroma. The flavour is a bit on the sour side, something completely unexpected from a witbier. |

332 | Alexander Keith's Hop Series: Hallertau | Canada | American Pale Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The second of the three new single hop pale ales from Nova Scotia. This one pours slightly darker than the Cascade, but with a smaller head. The aroma is very lagerish with very earthy hop note. Flavour is quite grassy, but clean. The best of the three in my opinion. |

333 | Arch Brewing Dinner Jacket O'Red IPA | Canada | IPA | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Not sure the thoughts behind this beer, or if it is just another brewery tyring to get it's foot in the door. Quite red for an IPA, and the head is amost non-existent. The hops are prominent in the aroma as are notes of caramel and grass. Grass and weak citrus notes dominate the flavour. There are so many other brewers in Ontario doing a better job these days. |

334 | Belhaven Best | United Kingdom | Bitter | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 One needs to be in the mood for a British beer at times, and when I first had this, I was really in the mood, but future visits have proben disappointing. Clear copper in colour with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma is caramel, grains, and floral hops. Flavour is dominated by the caramel notes with some off-tastes present if you look for them. |

335 | Big Rock India Pale Ale | Canada | IPA | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 A recent discovery for me as I was unaware that Big Rock had done a pale ale. The beer pours a red-tinged golden colour, clear, with a snow white ring for a head. Aroma is very malty with weak hints of citrusy hops. Like the aroma, the flavour falls short by being more on the malty side than on the hoppy side. Better than most Big Rock products however. |

336 | Flying Monkeys Genius of Suburbia | Canada | IPA | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 A session wheat beer. It pours a hazed pale golden hued orange with a white head. The aroma is strong on citrus with a hint of wheat and spice. The flavour is the same as the aroma, very citrusy with notes of grapefruit, and bitter finish. Should have been better. |

337 | Forked River Capital Blonde Ale | Canada | Blonde Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The beer pours a slightly hazed light gold colour with a generous frothy head that lasts a few minutes. The aroma is grainy malt with some light fruit and yeast notes. The flavour is balanced between some light sweet fruity malt tones and an earthy hop bitterness. |

338 | Goose Island IPA | United States | IPA | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The flagship beer of the Goose Island brewery, now brewed in Canada…yay? Comes with a twist-off cap. When did twist-offs become part of the craft beer movement? Anyway, the beer pours a translucent pale copper colour with a thin tan coloured ring. The aroma is caramel, biscuit, and citrus. The flavour is similar. I can’t help but wonder if Lake Michigan water is somehow better than St. Lawrence river water. |

339 | Goose Island Honkers Ale | United States | Extra Special Bitter | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 An English style pale ale that seems more American in style. A clear copper pour with a light tan coloured foamy head. Aroma is caramel malts, light fruits, and a bit heavy on the citrusy hops for an English style ale. Flavour is nicely balanced between the caramel and citrus, but still not to style. |

340 | Whistler Whiskey Jack Ale | Canada | Amber Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 A light rust coloured beer, quite clear, and topped with a nice white creamy head. Grains, light caramel, and floral hops dominate the nasal cavity while the tongue trips over sweet caramel notes and a bitter hop finish. This is a bere that you drink it and immediately forget you just had it and it leaves no real impression |

|
341 | Whistler Powder Mountain Lager | Canada | Pale Lager | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 This is a very bland lager beer. I’m sure it uses only the finest mountain water, and only the choicest Canadian malts and choices hops, but in the end you end up with a pale gold grainy lager that offers nothing to distinguish it from the dozens (or hundreds) of other lagers tried. |

342 | Whistler Paradise Valley Grapefruit Ale | Canada | Blonde Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 There are a lot of IPAs which use different varieties of hops to produce big bold grapefruity notes. This beer uses grapefruit instead and less aromatic hop varieties. In the end, the grapefruit notes aren’t as powerful as the name suggests. In the end, you get a golden coloured beer with a white cap and slight haze that has a very grainy aroma and a very bland blonde ale flavour. |

343 | Wellington County Dark Ale | Canada | Amber Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 A staple of the Wellington Brewery going back to the 90s. A dark brown body, although translucent when held up to a powerful light. Head is thin, light brown, and creamy. Caramel and nut tones dominate the aroma, although weak notes of chocolate are present. The flavour starts out sweet and malty, but then reality sets in and the finish is quite bitter. |

344 | Sleeping Giant Brewing Skullrock Stout | Canada | Oatmeal Stout | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 This beer defines the definition of average. It’s a good looking coca-cola colour with a thin tight creamy tan head. There isa a lot of roasted malt and oats in the aroma with hints of chocolate, enough to make you want more. The flavours aren’t as bold as I would like with the roasted malt hiding the oats and chocolate notes |

345 | Parallel 49 Salty Scot | Canada | Scottish Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 This is an award winning Scotch Ale, but at the same time, I fail to see how. It’s a nice dark brown pour with a light tan bubbly head. The aroma is molasses and caramel, as well as some yeast notes. The flavour is definitely sweet with lots of caramel flavours, but the salt-kissed balance is missing for me. |

|
346 | Parallel 49 Black Hops Cascadian Dark Lager | Canada | Schwarzbier | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The beer pours a coca-cola brown colour with brown edges and a huge bubbly light brown head. Citrus and roasted malt make up most of the aroma but there are hints of coffee, caramel, and yeast. Flavour is very similar to most average rune of the mill Black IPAs with a citrusy roasty flavour. Good, but not great. |

347 | Molson John H. R. Molson & Bros. 1908 Historic Pale Ale | Canada | American Pale Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 This is supposed to be a faithful representation of an ale from the beginning of the 20th century. It is a dark metallic gold in colour, pretty much clear, with an off-white head that sticks around, but doesn’t lace well. The aroma is biscuits, caramel, and spicy hops. The flavour is sweet malt, caramel, and a decent bitter finish. It does make you wonder that if they have this recipe in the books, why do have to drink Export? |

348 | Badger Golden Champion Ale | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Purchased at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario Store. Beer pours a weak clouded golden colour with a generous bubbly white head. Aroma is floral hops, biscuit malts, and buttered popcorn. The flavour is honey, caramel, and malt with yeast notes in the finish. |

349 | Whitewater Brewing KLR 93 | Canada | Kölsch | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Named after Doug Gilmour, an NHL Hall of Famer who shouldn’t be, but that story is for another time. This is a kolsch. Not my favourite style. This is a very clear beer, pale yellow with a foamy white head. No head retention whatsoever though. Cereal notes dominate the flavour and the aroma with a hint of floral hops to keep it somewhat interesting |

350 | Mill Street Cobblestone Stout | Canada | Dry Stout | 2.9
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 This is a beautiful looking black beer. A true stout. The aroma is rather weak, although there is some definite coffee hints. The mouthfeel is disappointing as well, weaker than a stout should be. The flavour is also somewhat watered down, matching the mouthfeel. |
