426 Molson Canadian 67 Sublime Canada Light / Lite Lager 1.5

Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

I tried this recently side by side with it's fruitless cousin Molson Canadian 67. I found that this was the better of the two, certainly a lot of emptiness though when it comes to the flavour (there's lime in this....where?).

Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

This is a low carb alternative to people who don't want to get beer bellies from Molson Canadian, well, belly up to the table boys and give this a try....if it doesn't swear you off beer, I don't know what will!

428 Molson Canadian Ice Canada Pale Lager 1.6

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

I'm surprised at a lot of the decently scored reviews on this. I have always found it to be one of the poorer brands in the Molson line-up, weak tasting for an ice beer in my opinion.

429 Molson Canadian 6.0 Cold Shots Canada Pale Lager 1.3

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

Quite possibly the most phenolic smelling and metallic tasting product I have tried in a long time. The only reasoin you would drink this ice cold is to shotgun it and get drink faster...although there's less alcohol in one can of this compared to a refgular Canadian or an Export.

430 Molson Brador Canada Strong Lager 2.7

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

Much easier to find this on the Quebec side of the Ottawa river than the Ontario side. A nice strong lager that is a bit on the sweet alcoholic side.

431 Molson Bohemian Canada Pale Lager 1.6

Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

Garbage.....................I first had this in the 70s and it was awful, and recently revisited it with similar dislike. Another beer to avoid (unless you like foul smelling and tasting beer).

432 Molson Black Ice Canada Strong Lager 4.1

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8

Whomever thought that Black Label should be re-invented in an ice beer format should be knighted. THis is as good as the regular black label with a fuller flavour.

433 Milwaukee's Best United States Pale Lager 1.0

Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

I can see why this is the worst beer both here and on Ratebeer....it's quite bad. I'm not sure what wenjt so wrong to make this such a bad beer, but it's been acocmplished.

434 Busch NA United States Reduced Alcohol 1.9

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

For a non-alcoholic, this is far from the worst beer out there. The colour is quite decent, and you can get a sense of hops in the aroma. If only it tasted better.

435 Milwaukees Best Light United States Light / Lite Lager 1.0

Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

I just noticed that the difference between this and the regular version is about 0.1%, which is the same as the tolerance level accepted by international standards organization for beer.

436 Natural Light United States Light / Lite Lager 1.5

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3

I went to many a party when I lived in the US in the 90s where Natty Lite made an appearance. It was never a beer worth drinking, but sometimes the only options one had if you didn't bring your own was Natty Lite, Bud Lite, Miller Lite, or Coors Lite.

437 Bud Light Chelada United States Light / Lite Lager 1.2

Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

This is where I question the need to have to write 150 characters in order for the review to be valid. Bud Light Chelada, while interesting as a curiousity only, is awful!

438 Schlitz Red Bull Malt Liquor United States Strong Lager 1.6

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

I have had the Canadian version of this once or twice (Sleeman's used to contract brew Schlitz and Stroh's products) and it was awful both times. An ABV that qualifies as a 'Light' beer for a Belgian, is grossly alcoholic in this concoction

Ah, good ol' Natty Ice, another party favourite from my American days, and another beer that I don't miss at all. If it's available at all in Canada...........pass it by. It's beers like this that gave rise to the 'Canadian Beer is better' myth of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.

440 Bud Dry United States Pale Lager 1.7

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

The first time I had Bud Dry, I thought it was a pretty good beer. It was smooth and crisp and went down well. Each subsequent trime I had it, the first time seemed farther and farther away.

441 Bud Light United States Light / Lite Lager 1.2

Out of the major American Light macros, this is far and away the worst. However, when in a pinch, you can find this just about anywhere...................

442 Michelob Ultra United States Light / Lite Lager 1.7

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3

I was unaware that this was a low carbohydrate beer until I started entering this rating, I guess that pushes the beer up a notch, or not. It was still pretty bad.

443 Busch Beer United States Pale Lager 2.0

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

This is a beer that I think is certainly better than the rating that it has received on this site. It's not great, but certainly quaffable and semi-refreshing.

444 Rickard's White Canada Witbier 2.3

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

There is really something artificial about this beer, but not sure what it is. It lacks both the aroma and full flavour that is found in a Hoegaarden or something similar, but it is Rickard's best offering.

445 Rickard's Red Canada Amber Ale 2.5

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

This is probably my favourite session beer. It's available at every beer store, and liquor store in the land, and goes well with hockey and most of the food I indulge myself with.

446 Rickard's Dark Canada Porter 2.6

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 5

This is a porter as much as Bud Light is an IIPA. That said, it has more flavour than most beers from the Molson Coors conglomerate, and that can never be a bad thing.

447 John Labatt Classic Canada Lager 2.1

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

Here's a beer from my younger days. Always thought of as a 'premium product' when looking back it was nothing more than overpriced swill. I still have a case of empties in the garage from 1989. This was a bit more flavourful than a 'Blue' or a '50' but the base recipe is the same.

448 Guinness Extra Stout Canada Foreign / Extra Stout 3.9

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

For many years, if you wanted to portray yourself as a sophisticated beer drinker in Canada, you drank Guinness. Unfortunately for many years, that meant going to your local pub and payong through the nose. The bottled version is certainly a great tasting beer. Not as dark as the draught version, and not as flavourful as the plethora of Imperial Stouts available these days, it is still a great beer.

449 Labatt 50 Canada Blonde Ale 2.7

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5

Shares the title of 'your father's beer' with Molson Export....all depends on whether you are a Labatt man or a Molson man. I'm an equal opportunity imbiber. 50 is the better of the two with a more distinct hop character, and less sweetness. I'll choose 50 over Export any day.

450 Labatt Blue Canada Pale Lager 1.2

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2

The most refreshing Labatt beer on the planet, but that is because it really is nothing more than beer flavoured water. The phenolic properties get stronger each time I revisit this beer.
