401 | McAuslan St. Ambroise Stout Impériale Russe / McAuslan St. Ambroise Russian Imperial Stout | Canada | Imperial Stout | 4.6
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 If there is one thing that McAusland does well, it is stouts. Between their world class Oatmeal Stout and this, one would be quite content! Blackest stout in Canada with lots of roasted coffee and chocolate notes in both the aroma and flavour. Great body! |

402 | McAuslan St. Ambroise Millésimée / McAuslan St. Ambroise Vintage Ale | Canada | English Barleywine | 4.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 Who doesn’t like a good barleywine? Everybody I know loves a good strong well made barleywine. This is one of Canada’s finest barleywines. It pours a clear rust colour with a creamy thin light brown coloured cap. Lots of caramel and sweet malt in the aroma with hints of dark fruit and herbal hops. Flavour is a nice balance between the sweet caramel and toffee notes and the earthy hoppy and spice notes. Highly recommended. |

403 | McAuslan St. Ambroise Citrouille / McAuslan St. Ambroise Pumpkin | Canada | Spiced Beer | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Pumpkin ales in the fall are becoming a tradition in Canada, unfortunately far too many brewers don’t know how to make them. That number is growing every year. McAuslan on the other hand, knows how to make a little bit of everything including pumpkin. And while this murky light orange coloured beer doesn’t smell like a fresh baked pumpkin pie, the pumpkin and spice notes are delicately placed in both the flavour and aroma where they should be. Better on draught than bottles! |

404 | McAuslan St. Ambroise L'Écosse (Scotch Ale) | Canada | Scottish Ale | 4.1
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 This is the finest Canadian brewed scotch ale available regularly in Canada. It pours a dark mahogany colour, almost solid, with a creamy light brown cap. Molasses, vanilla, caramel, and smoked wood provide a nice aroma, and the flavour doesn’t let you down. A nice sweet scotch ale with the sweet sugar and molasses notes balanced by the smoked wood and hops. |

405 | McAuslan St. Ambroise Blé de L'Apricot / McAuslan St. Ambroise Apricot Wheat | Canada | American Wheat | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Apricots are one of those fruits that has a very memorable earthy flavour, and McAuslan has succeeded in turning that dominant flavour into a subtly flavoured wheat beer. A nice golden pour, the real in your face attitude comes in the subtle notes of apricot in the aroma and flavour, yet the wheat notes are still very much alove. A fruity American Wheat style at it’s finest. |

406 | Alexander Keith's Ambrosia Blonde | Canada | Blonde Ale | 2.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Everywhere you go in Canada, people are drinking Alexander Keith's this or that.....I admit it, I've done it myself. This is one of their newer nectars, very clear, somewhat sudsy. The nose is very metallic with a lot of skunk. Flavour is on the sweet side, quite malty. |

407 | Alexander Keith's Dark Ale | Canada | Brown Ale | 2.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 I've seen this beer described by the brewery as a stout, as a porter, and as a dark ale. Regardless of how you describe it, it's still quite bad. A dark brown colour with some clarity, topped off with a small thin head. A bit of roasted malt in the nose and the flavour, yet very thin. Quite watery flavour. |

408 | Alexander Keith's Harvest Ale | Canada | Amber Ale | 2.0
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 I have to admit, I actually sought out this beer on the advice of a friend who said it was quite good (he's a craft beer enthusiast). I'm convinced that whatever he was served wasn't this because this was crap. A light brown pour with a weak tan head. Malty aroma with weak toffee tones. Flavour was quite thin, a little on the sweet side, not much else to say. |

409 | Alexander Keith's Honey Brown Ale | Canada | Brown Ale | 1.9
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 The first negative thing I noticed about this beer was that it was the same colour as diarrhea (and that is never a good thing). The second negative thing I noticed about this beer was the metallic aroma. I found no honey. Same with the flavour, on the sweet side but no honey. |
