276 | Blanche de Bruxelles Manneken Pis | Belgium | Witbier | 3.6
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A nice witbier for the masses like a Hoegaarden. It pours a nice hazed yellow with a snow wite head. The aroma is typical witbier with notes of yeast and spices. The flavour is sweet wheat with hints of coriander and citrus. I would buy again. |

277 | LeFebvre Hopus | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 A recent find at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario branch store. A cloudy gold colour with a generous white cap. The aroma is mainly cereal malt, yeast, and some notes of floral hops. The flavour is grainly with hints of yeast, citrus, and spices. Not as hoppy as the name would indicate, but a pretty good beer nonetheless. |

278 | Biere du Boucanier Blonde Ale | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 A very strong beer and the alcohol is noticeable in both the aroma and the flavour. A clouded medium gold pour with a weak white cap. The aroma is dominated by malt and yeast with the alcohol overpowering the spices and yeast. Flavour is grains and alcohol with the yeast and spices secondary. |

280 | Biere du Boucanier Red Ale | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Part of an annual Christmas pack available at the LCBO. This pours a slightly less red than the Dark, although the head tends to be larger. The aroma is slightly fruity with notes of ropasted malt, caramel, and yeast. RThe flavour is like the aroma, with a very bitter long lasting aftertaste. |

281 | Birra Moretti | Italy | Lager | 2.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 Every time I go to Italy, it is either this or Peroni that is the local draught. Both non-offensive, but neither worth drinking. The beer is a pale gold colour, clear, with a white head. The aroma is grains, and weak hops, with plenty of adjuncts. The flavour is typical of a North American pale lager with a grainy nature and plenty of off-notes. |

282 | Birra Moretti Baffo D’oro | Italy | Lager | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 This is my Italian lager of choice, although not every Italian joint carries it. A deep gold colour with a thin white cap. The aroma is biscuit malts, some herbal hoppiness, and a slight citrus note. Flavour is quite malty with hints of weak spice and hops. An excellent Italian beer. |

283 | Birra Moretti La Rossa | Italy | Doppelbock | 3.6
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Italian dopplebocks are quite rare, and this one isn’t that bad. A reddish brown pour with beige coloured head. The aroma is very malty with notes of sweet dark fruit, some rasted malt, nuts, and caramel. The beer has a malty sweetness to it that isn’t overpowering, yet at the same time has a dry nuttiness to it as well. |

284 | Birrificio del Ducato Luna Rossa | Italy | Wild Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 A murky reddish brown pour with a weak tan coloured ring as a cap. Lots of tart cherry aroma, some yeast, some funk. Yeast and cherry dominate the flavour profile. The flavour does lack some balance between the sweetness and the tartness however. |

|
285 | Birrificio del Ducato Bia IPA | Italy | IPA | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 The colour is typical of an American IPA with a cloudy golden orange and topped with a creamy beige head. Typical American IPA aroma with lots of pine, grapefruit, and toffee notes. Where it fails is in the flavour, not as robust or as hoppy as an American IPA with muted citrus and caramel notes. |

|
286 | Birrificio del Ducato Verdi Imperial Stout | Italy | Imperial Stout | 4.1
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 This is one dark pour. Coal black with a dark brown cap. Beautiful to look at. There is plenty of coffee, chocolate, and roast in the aroma to keep a stout lover happy. The flavour is very malty with a host of coffee and chocolate complexity. |

287 | Bitburger Drive | Germany | Reduced Alcohol | 2.6
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 Pours a medium gold colour, clear, with a thin snow white head. Aroma is very similar to the regular Bitburger with cereal malt, herbal hops, and some yeast. Flavour is simply a weaker version of the Premium Pils, not offensively weak by any measure, but still weaker. |

|
288 | Bitburger Premium Pils | Germany | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A deep gold pour, clear, with a frothy white head that you expect from a German lager. Biscuity malt, yeast, and herbal hops round out the aroma. Flavour is nicely balanced between the malt and hops, again, something you would expect from a German lager |

289 | Bockor Bellegems Bruin | Belgium | Flanders Oude Bruin | 3.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A hazy light brown with red edges, and a thick bubbly off-white head. Lots of dark fruit, some tartness, yeast, and wooden notes make comprise the aroma. The flavour is a mish-mash between the sweet fruit notes and the tart cherry-like flavours with plenty of funk in the mix. |

|
290 | Bockor Cuvee des Jacobins Rouge | Belgium | Flanders Red | 4.2
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 The flagship beer of the Vander Ghinste brewery and it’s easy to see why. This is a superb example of a Flanders Red. A sparkly effervescent cherry red pour with a pinkish cap. Aroma is tart cherries, funk, and vinegar. Flavour is pretty much the same although the balance between the cherry sweetness and tartness is remarkably well done. |

291 | Bockor Omer. Traditional Blond | Belgium | Abbey Tripel | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A cloudy effervescent golden pour with a thick white cap that lingers on and on. 292 | Boddingtons Pub Ale | United Kingdom | Bitter | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 A golden amber pour, clear, with a huge off-white head. Ample amounts of citrus and caramel in the nose with hints of yeast and cereal malts. Well balanced palate between the malt and hops with just the right amount of sweetness in the mix. |

293 | Jever Pilsener | Germany | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 3.6
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 A recent find at the provincial liquor outlet and featured in the glossy monthly magazine. Canned, and pours into the glass as a clear light gold liquid. Cereal malt dominates the aromatics with ample hoppy tones. The flavour is nicely balanced between with malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Not bad for $2 beer. |

294 | Mackeson XXX Stout | Trinidad and Tobago | Milk Stout | 4.3
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 I bought this at a local liquor outlet and the cashier told me it was English, needless to say that when I looked at the bottle and saw Trinidad I feel lied to. Anyway, a nice black pour with a brown cap. Lots of chocolate and sweet malt in the aroma. Flavour is very chocolatey with hints of coffee. Excellent value, despite the lack of knowledge at the LCBO. |

297 | Augustijn Grand Cru | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. Part of a holiday 6 pack. A beast of a beer. It pours a hazed golden-orange with a huge white head. Spices, yeast, and citrus dominate the aroma, but notes of candied fruit exist. The flavour starts out with a fruity sweetness, and has a bitter citrus finish with yeast and spice notes. Alcohol was detectable. |

298 | Asahi Super Dry | Japan | Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. This is one of the dregs of the beer world. It pours a clear light gold colour with an oversized white cap that quicky disappears. Aroma is skunky vegetables, acid, and grass. Flavour is malt-forward with plenty of skunky and off-flavours. |

|
299 | Asia Pacific Tiger Beer | Singapore | Pale Lager | 2.3
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. This is one of those rare beers that tastes better out of the can than it does out of the bottle. It pours a medium gold colour, clear, with a white head and plenty of effervescence. The flavour is quite grainy with hints of herbal hops. |

300 | Amager Kåååd | Denmark | IPA | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. This is one strange India Pale Ale. It pours a cloudy golden amber colour with almost no head. The aroma is very grainly with hints of light fruit and citrusy hops. The flavour is closer to that of an IPA with a very hop-forward grapefruit flavour, followed by notes of light fruits and grains. |
