152 | Stoudt's Revel Red | United States | Amber Ale | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 This poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, citrus, bready notes, and perfume. The flavor is rather tame and slightly dry with some caramel, toasted oats, and slight citrus showing up. This is more malty than anything. Overall decent session stuff at best. |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 n amber color with a beige head. The aroma contains some caramel, dark fruit, oranges, and pine. The flavor is bitter but not over the top. I’m getting some oranges, caramel, and dark fruit. The finish is well balanced with the malt and hops. This would be a good session beer almost. Overall nice one! |

157 | New Belgium Red Hoptober | United States | Amber Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A dark amber color with a beige head. Aroma contains some laundry detergent, caramel, and dark fruit. Luckily none of the Tide makes in the flavor some caramel, cherries, hint of citrus. A good balance of malty and hoppy in the finish. Overall pretty good. |

158 | Atwater Double Down Imperial Amber Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 2.7
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 5 This poured an amber color with little head. The aroma contains a bit of alcohol but also some caramel and malty notes. The flavor is oddly sour with some citrus notes, dark fruit, and more caramel. The finish is a bit harsh. Overall not diggin this beer or this brewery thus far. |

159 | Fox and Hound Red Fox Amber Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 2.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 On Tap Fox and Hound Chattanooga. This poured an amber color with a small white head. The aroma is faint with some caramel and toffee showing through. The flavor was rather sweet and malty with more caramel and toffee. Probably in the league of Killians and such. At $2 for a pint it worked. Overall decent enough. |

160 | Coastal Pamlico Amber | United States | Amber Ale | 2.3
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 This poured a copper color with a moderate size white head. The aroma contains some caramel and something strange like vinegar maybe. The flavor contains contains some dark fruit and caramel. Some kind of strange vegetable flavor to this. The finish is dull and watery. Overall this sucks, poorly made amber ale for sure. |

161 | Yazoo Fall Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 This poured a orange to copper color with a white head. The aroma was fairly straightfoward with some caramel, rye, and citrus. The flavor was more bitter than your typical oktoberfest which was a nice touch. I tasted some caramel, lemons, and rye. Overall not amazing but some ok session stuff. |

163 | Highland Gaelic Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 A dark amber to brown appearance with a light head. The aroma consists of grapes, caramel, and cherries. The flavor is rather tame with some bready notes present. Sour apples and grapes are mainly what I taste. Not much of a hop bite to it at all. The palate is somewhat thin but thats to be expected of this style I guess. Overall this was pretty average, Highland makes much better. |

164 | Lost Coast Alleycat Amber Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 This poured a dark copper color. A faint aroma of notably caramel and grapefruit. Some slight citrus showing in the flavor mainly grapefruit and oranges. A slight nutty character to it, similar to myself. The body is a little bit thin on this one. Nothing amazing but about what you would expect for an Amber. |

165 | Avery Redpoint Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 4.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 The aroma consists of grapefruit and caramel. The appearance is an amber color with a soapy looking white head. The flavor is rather hoppy for an amber ale with more grapefruit and lemons on the bitter side, caramel and candi sugar on the malty side. I sound like a damn Shredded Wheat commerical. A damn fine amber ale and may be one of my favorites. |

167 | The Duck-Rabbit Amber Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 2.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 A burnt caramel and nutty aroma with just a hint of dishwashing detergent? A dark amber to almost brown appearance. Some annoying burnt toast flavor mixed in with caramel and figs. Some metallic notes in the finish. Very watery and flavorless. I was expecting more as Ive been impressed with this brewery thus far. |

169 | Rogue American Amber | United States | Amber Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A reddish brown appearance with a nice looking head and lacing. Aroma is malty with some hops coming through. Flavor is a little thin at least compared to other Rogue beers. Some hop bitterness followed with a bit of a smokey tobacco and sour grape flavor. A nice sipping beer but Rogue offers many better. Good one though |

171 | Rogue Saint Rogue Red Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 4.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 Another nice beer from Rogue. Aroma is spicy with some dark chocolate and fruit. Appearance is a reddish brown. Flavor is very hoppy with some dark fruit flavor. Most amber ales I've had are watery and dull, but this one is a big ol' hopfest. Good deal! |

175 | Anchor Old Foghorn Ale | United States | American Barleywine | 4.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 An orangish brown appearance with a moderate tan head. The aroma is floral and full of oranges and raisins. This sucker hides that 10% amazingly well. I taste caramel, vanilla, toffee, and grapes. Its a little sweet but seems to find almost perfect balance. Glad Ive had the chance to sample so many good barleywines lately. |
