Another fine draft from Obriens in San Diego. This was a huge hoppy beer with a distinct earthy and pine filled aroma. The appearance was dark orange with a moderate white head. Some oranges and grapefruit swimming around. The aftertaste has a sour effect. Good on ya!

A bright orange appearance with some good lacing. The aroma is pears and hops. The flavor is bitter with some lemons, orange peel, tangerine, and other citrus fruits. Another good IPA on my west coast trip. My palate is offically ruined. Even better my 700th rating on BP - woo hoo!!!! :)

Had this one at the Liars Club. A good malty and nutty aroma. This one was super thick and had a heavy alcohol presence. There were some dark fruits and caramel present in the flavor. A slow sipper indeed but a good one to have a pint of. Id like to try it again.

This beer is a dark brownish/red color with a moderate head. The aroma is excellent with some caramel, grapes, oak, brown sugar, and alcohol. The flavor is quite sweet with a nice punch of toffee, sour apples, molasses, and raisins. The mouthfeel is quite thick and syrupy. Some alcohol does show through with this beer. This one would certainly be a good one for a cold night.

A pitch black appearance with a tan head. Aroma is smoked meat and roasted malt. Flavor is bitter and smokey. Yet another great beer from Stone!

This does indeed have a soda-ish smell to it. A big roasted malt and chocolate aroma and one of the most pleasing smells Ive experienced in a porter. The flavor is a bit smokey and decently hopped with some chocolate, raisins, and vanilla. This is some good stuff.

This stuff rocks right here. A deep orange appearance with a fluffy head. A citrus fest of an aroma including some lime. Very well balanced with a good malt presence mixed in with mainly oranges in the flavor. A nice bitter bite. Hopheads NEED apply.

Thanks to Sassy for sharing this. A yellow copper color with loads of carbonation. The aroma is mainly vinegar and lemons. Some funk is definitley present. The flavor is quite sour with some apples, lemons, vinegar, and cheese. A very dry dusty mouthfeel as well. Not as sour as some Ive had but very good.

The aroma is alcohol, peaches, and apricots. An orange appearance with a good amount of carbonation. The flavor is pretty yeasty with mainly oranges and peaches. Some other citrus is also present. I really enjoyed this one.

Poured a reddish brown color. A very sweet flavor with some molasses, raisins, oranges, and cherries. The alcohol is well hidden. The aftertaste is somewhat sour and warming. A good one!

A copper color with a large white head. The aroma is very citrusy and floral. The taste is creamy with citrus mainly orange peel. It has a certain grassy quality to it as well. Overall this is a very good beer. Avery rocks!

A vintage bottle from the cellar. The aging of this beer has apparently done wonders. A brownish red appearance with a large head. The aroma is grapes and wheat. The flavor is mainly sour grapes and nuts. It has a doughy flavor present as well. This one beats out Aventius for sure. Excelllent.

A big alcohol and citrus aroma. A dark orange appearance. A heavy earthy and oak presence with some caramel, cherries, and sour fruit in the flavor. A warming and sour aftertaste. I enjoyed the INSANITY!

A yellow/orange appearance. A lot of citrus and pine in the aroma. The flavor is mainly orange peels and its very hoppy. The aftertaste is rather smooth but very bitter. I liked this one.

A dark black appearance. A lot of chocolate milk? in the aroma. The flavor is very creamy with a milk presence. Some dark chocolate, espresso, and malted milk balls. Very interesting imperial stout

My notes say "w..he/ ite" WTF??? Well I can read the rest of it. A reddish brown appearance. The flavor is rather sour with a red and white grape presence. I also detect some chocolate and raisins. There is a definite sugary presence. A bit of alcohol shows in the finish. Good bier!

A cherry and caramel aroma. A reddish brown appearance. Some citrus, cherries, almonds, and nutmeg in the flavor. It was very sweet and carbonated as well. This was one of the last beers of the Noog Fest so my notes kinda suck. I know I loved it though.

A nice golden appearance with a rather large head. The aroma is a blast of spices, lemons, coriander, orange peels. So far so good. The flavor is also filled with citrus, lemons, grapefruit, oranges, pears, you name it. There is also a slightly funky and spiced note to the beer. I must be in the minority but I love this stuff!

A dark amber appearance with a large head. The aroma is damn nice with some perfume, pine, and quite malty. The flavor is also very malty for an IPA but seems to acheive a good balance. I taste grapefruit, lemons, and raisins. Overall a very nice one.

My first IIPA from a can. A copper color with a fantastic aroma consisting of caramel, pine, oranges, and grapefruit. The flavor is quite citrusy with a bit of darker malts to balance out the citrus fest. A good beer, man I love IIPAs!

Dark browish black appearance with a large head. The aroma is raisins, chocolate, rum, and gingerbread. The flavor is rather sweet with a heavy alcohol presence. I taste figs, caramel, chocoalte and ginger. The beer has a doughy presence with a warming effect. Good stuff.
