226 Maredsous 10 Belgium Abbey Tripel 3.9

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

A yeasty citrus aroma with a cloudy yellow appearance. The flavor was similar to sponge cake and lemon sour candy. Very sugary and carbonated. Another good one at NoogFest II.

227 DeuS (Brut Des Flandres) Belgium Belgian Strong Ale 2.8

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

A light yellow appearance. The aroma is household cleaner and alcohol. The flavor is champagne like and sugary with a hint of citrus. The alcohol kicks you in the nuts. This is $25? Good lord.

231 Caracu Cerveja Escura Brazil Stout 3.3

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

This looked like swill at first. But it was pretty darn good. I said DARN. Well damnit here we go. A brownish black appearance with a beige head. Some bitter notes and chocolate is present. It had a wheat presence as well. Or so my notes say.

232 Xingu Black Beer Brazil Stout 3.3

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Dark appearance with a tan head. Fairly light bodied but flavorful nonetheless. Taste is sweet with chocolate and some sour fruit showing through as the beer warmed. Palate is a little thin. Overall a pretty good beer and just light enough to be refreshing on a hot day.

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 5

Wow I wasn't expecting much and I got even less. No aroma. Standard light yellow appearance. It tastes like any other standard crap beer really. This is as much of a pilsner as Miller Lite and alot more expensive. NEXT!

234 Unibroue Trois Pistoles Canada Belgian Strong Ale 4.6

Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9

The best of this brewery by a long shot. Appearance is dark brown/red with a massive head. Aroma is amazing. Flavor is complex with cherries, vanilla, grapes, and plums. Alcohol is very well hidden. A top notch Belgian ale, and the best one Ive had not actually brewed in Europe.

235 Unibroue 10 Canada Abbey Tripel 3.4

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

A boring blonde Belgian. Slightly sweet with no real complexity. Hides all the alcohol really well. Not a bad beer but nothing amazing either. Overrated in my opinion.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

A decent fruit beer. Recommended chilled or warmed. Screw that! I drank it at room temp. Good complex flavor of sweet cherries. Slighty sweet and somewhat tart. Good deal.

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

#100 on this site as well! Yeah!!!!.....Re-rate since I said nothing about the beer previously. A black appearance with a tan head. The aroma is contains a good deal of coffee with some chocolate in the background. The flavor is quite roasty and bitter with some chocolate and hints of dark fruit. Overall this is alot more flavorul and complex than the regular Guinness draft. Pretty good.

238 Molson Ice Canada Pale Lager 2.2

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 5

Gave this a go again for the heck of it. And old favorite, but that say nothing as my favorite used to be Miller! Faint aroma, flavor is typical of a macro beer with a hint of bitterness and some skunky stuff. This is probably a bad six pack. A decent ice beer when its not skunked. It will do.

239 Unibroue La Fringante Canada Abbey Tripel 3.8

240 Unibroue L'Éphémère (unflavoured) Canada Saison 3.0

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

Yellow appearance with moderate head. Aroma is granny smith apples and wheat. Flavor is not as much apples as I expected with a very dry taste. Mouthfeel is thick and doughy. I'm not sure what is going on with this beer, but I'll never want to sample it again. Average

241 Molson Canadian Canada Pale Lager 2.5

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 5

Molson is the AB of Canada but thier mass produced beers are a notch above America's macros. But I'm sure Molson is hated in Canada as much as AB is in the US. But overall its a pretty clean non offensive lager. But nothing too impressive either. And an ever so slight bitterness can be detected. Pretty standard stuff.

243 Molson XXX Canada Strong Lager 2.5

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

Molson does a good job considering the style. A decent corn and malt aroma. The appearance is a dark golden color. This one is a bit sweet but its not nasty at all. It actually has a decent malt flava.

244 Unibroue L'Éphémère Cassis (Unibroue L'Éphémère Black Currant) Canada Fruit Beer 3.3

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

The appearance and aroma are very nice and its all down hill from there. A pinkish orange color. A floral and raspberry aroma. Now Im all excited to try it. Wah Wah Wah! Extremely weak flavor I taste next to nothing. But this side of nothing I get some currant, peaches, and raspberry. Excuse me bartender can I get some more beer with this water

246 Dieu du Ciel! Péché Mortel (Mortal Sin) Canada Imperial Stout 4.3

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

This beer had a nice pitch black appearance with a tan head. Do you like Espresso? If you say yes you are set. If not you may be looking for something else. A very bitter chocolate and coffee/espresso taste. You need not seek complexity here just a coffee house. Is this beer overrated? Oh yes. But is it good? Yes also. Starbucks beer style homies.

247 Steelback (I) Blue Thunder Canada Strong Lager 1.3

Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3

A yellow/orange appearance with almost no head. Its smells like gasoline and pills. The flavor contains a tad bit of citrus and huge dose of fuselage. It was sweet and harsh to drink. I prefer the Tango myself

248 Steelback (I) Tango Canada Pale Lager 1.8

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

The almighty king of bad beers as its told, but I dont agree. A cloudy yellow appearance with almost no head. Not much flavor to speak of except some corn notes and a hint of lime. Better than tequiza! Dont get me wrong it sucks but not as bad as people would make you believe. I think my bottle has gone good.

An amber color with an off white head. The aroma is malty with some rye and loads of black pepper. AAAAHCHUUU! The flavor is really hot with some caramel, rye, and loads of ground pepper. Why make a beer like this? Overall it sucks hard.
