Aroma is wheat, grapes, lemons, bananas and caramel. Apperance is a murky brown with a moderate off white head and fair lacing. Flavor is syrupy with a very strong grape presence. A good kick of sour fruit, banana, wheat, and tart apples. The finish is thick on the tounge with a moderate alcohol burn. A nice beer and something to be sipped on slowly. I've heard of an infection problem on the best by 8/20/04 bottles but my bottle seems fine. And if its a bacteria causing the pleasent sourness, then rock on bottle infection!

On tap at the brewery. A dark amber color with a moderate head. A good syrupy texture with some orange, oak, cherry, molasses in the flavor. A slightly bitter aftertaste. A warming effect from the alcohol. A nice barleywine.

A nice pils but not in the league of many european pilsners Ive had. Flavor is hoppy with little complexity to back it up. It does not offer the creamy texture I like in a good pilsner. A good beer considering the style but not anything I will seek out.

A reddish brown appearance. A caramel, chocolate, and bready aroma. A rather light body but some good flavors which include figs, chocolate, caramel, and raisins. Not much of the alcohol can be detected. Overall a nice one.

A black appearance with a beige head. The aroma is grapes and chocolate. The flavor is quite sour with some chocolate, raisins, and smoke. Not sure but this may be a little overrated. I enjoyed it but not as good as many of the other Impy Stouts Ive had.

This poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma contains lemons, hay, vanilla. The flavor is rather sweet with some citrus showing up. For a blonde ale this is rather refreshing. Good deal!

Cloudy yellow with white head. The aroma is faint lemons, banana, and clove. Not much to it. Flavor is a bit sour with lemons mostly and some bread and bananas. Overall this was ok and works alright on a hot summer day.

Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a soapy detergent lemon thing going on. It smells like Orval! This is very dry yet yeasty with a sharp lemon flavor that is slightly sour but very bitter and dry. Oh I see what you are doing Victory you are trying to make an Orval clone. Congrats you did just that!

This one was a dead goose next to the V12 and Old Horizontal. Well its pretty much standrard issue stuff. Clear yellow appearance with some corn and a little bit of malt. This exists to keep the barflys playing pool happy and drunk. Its the cash cow beer. No thanks.

Bottled Sept 2002....I will start by saying this did age well. A murky brown appearance with a moderate sized head. The aroma contained some citrus, caramel, brown sugar, and alcohol. The flavor is quite sour with some cherries, lemons, brown sugar, and alcohol. Nothing I could drink alot of but still a nice beer!

A very malty aroma. No head on this one at all. A yeasty flavor with a sugary orange taste. The alcohol is present in the aftertaste. Overall its good in small doses.

This was a pretty good example of the style. A cloudy yellow appearance with a large head. A big lemon presence with some banana flavor. It had a doughy feel to it. I taste some wheat in there as well. Refreshing on a hot day. Good deal.

This poured a copper color with a beige head. The aroma contains caramel, oranges, and grapefruit. And ASS. Seriously it smells like an ass. Others at the tasting agreed. The flavor is funky with some vinegar, yeasty flavors, citrus and caramel. It sure tasted better than it smelled. Overall strange but pretty good.

A pitch black pour with a tan head. A milk chocolate, charcoal, and coffee aroma. The flavor is very smooth with almost no alcohol flavor present. Some milk chocolate, malted milk balls (Im tasting that alot lately?) and raisins. I agree with the RICH statement in the commercial description. A sweet aftertaste. This would rock with some dessert!

The aroma was apples, honey, and christmas spices. The flavor is very sweet with some honey, almonds, spices, apples, and caramel. This is like a dessert beverage that you could not drink very much of. Too bad they don’t send this one across the pond. Awesome!!!

Aroma is floral with some bread, lemons, and oranges. Apperance is a murky yellowish/orange. The flavor is an overkill in the spice department. A very sour citrus fruit flavor with a hot pepper/tobassco spice to it. Is that vinegar I taste? This is the Cave Creek Chili Beer of Wits. This has to be one of the weirdest drinking experiences Ive ever had. Overall its just to spicy to be enjoyable. Blech!

A random find in my neck of the woods. A cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma was quite floral with some grassy notes and lemons. The flavor was slightly bitter but mostly malty with some creamed corn, lemons, and herbal notes. This one reminds me of Budvar which I like. Overall a nice pils!

This poured a golden color with little head. The aroma is vinegar and apples and that’s about it. The flavor has a slight vinegar presence but is mostly just watery with some apples present. Overall nice try but no dice with this one.

Well it wasnt horrible. I though I would start out by saying something nice. Sampled from the can it smelled like dishwashing detergent?. I detected some grassy hay flavors and a bit of orange. Its not total swill just a bland lager really.

A dark golden apperance with a large soapy head. The aroma contains some lemons, corn and some strange cooked vegetable deal in there. The flavor contains some maltiness, cooked corn, lemons and more off flavors. Lots of diacetyl present in this beer. Beginning to end this beer sucks.

Appearance is a darkish/red. Flavor is clean with a slight sourness and a distinctive yeastiness. Some bitterness but not very full bodied. This is not bad for a mass produced European beer.

A good lager especially for a widely available lager, a huge jump from BudMillerCoors but nothing to go crazy over, a treat for someone who really loves lagers, which is not me.

This poured a dark orange with a white head. Aroma contains some citrus, perfume, and alcohol. The flavor contains some oranges, pine, lemons, and grapefruit. Some sweetness is present. This is one big badass beer. Aftertaste is bittersweet and boozy. Overall kick arse.

This poured a brown color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, herbal notes, and a bit of citrus. The flavor is both hoppy and malty with caramel and nutty flavor on one side and a citrus bite on the other. All hemp beers I’ve had are a little bit bitter, this is no exception. Overall a pretty good beer.

This poured a dark yellow color with a moderate head. The aroma contained pine, perfume, and oranges. The flavor was rather bitter with more oranges showing up. The malt presence was certainly there. Overall a nice IPA.
