Sampled in an appropriate Urthel glass that wound up in lilkem’s purse Anyways it poured a murky orange color. The flavor was very sweet with a sugary lemon thing going on. A big caramel and honey presence. A bit of alcohol shows up in the finish. My least favorite quad to date but that isnt a bad thing to say at all.

This poured a dark brown color with a reddish hue. The aroma is complex with some chocolate, caramel, spices, and herbal notes. The flavor is rather malty with some dark fruit, chocolate, spices, and alcohol. The aftertaste contains some sweet and boozy notes. Overall this was a pretty good belgian.

A murky yellow appearance with a moderate white head and some good lacing. The aroma is lemon, spices, and pears. The flavor is a bit on the sour side with a some lemon and apricots. It has a rather soft mouthfeel and a citrusy aftertaste. Quite a nice Tripel here.

Why do I keep fooling with these pepper spice beers? Anyway it poured a brown color with little head present. The aroma is malty but shove a pepper shaker up your nose. The flavor is hot with loads of black pepper and some alcohol and caramel. NEXT!

An amber color with a citrus, caramel, and alcohol aroma present. The flavor was rather complex with some caramel, raisins, honey, and a hint of citrus. A rather sweet alcoholic finish. A nice attempt at a Quad.

An orange apperance with a large head. The aroma was citrusy with some spice noted. The flavor is rather sour on this one. Some lemons, brown sugar, spices, and candy sugars showing up. Overall this was a nice lighter belgian style.

A reddish brown appearance. A lot of cookie dough in the aroma with some raisins and caramel as well. The flavor consists of some spices with caramel, molasses, chocolate, and nutmeg. A sweet and warming finish. A very good beer.

This one was an excellent IPA and one of Gez’s favorite :) A murky brown apperance. The aroma consists of pine, perfume, caramel, and grapefruits. The flavor has some grapefruit, pine, oranges, and brown sugar. A rather bitter beer with a good malt presence. Nice!

This poured a bright red color with a small pinkish white head. The aroma is well you guessed it strawberries! Not freshly picked ones but those candies you get wrapped in paper that looks like a strawberry. The flavor is rather sweet with more artifical strawberry flavor. Overall this tastes like Strawberry Fanta, which I like sometimes. But not much of a beer.

A dark orange/amber appearance. A nice whiff of alcohol, apricots, and brown sugar.The flavor is a bit sugary with some peaches really showing through. A bit of spice is also present. I seem to have enjoyed this more than others looking at the score, but ya like what ya like, ya know.

A golden appearance with a white head. The aroma is yeasty and spicy with some citrus like lemons and some alcohol showing. The flavor is rather sour with some vinegar, lemon, grapefruit, and spices. My bottle had some age on it but it seemed to age nicely. Overall a good beer.

Golden appearance with large head. Aroma contains some citrus mainly lemons with some vinegar, spices, and coriander. The flavor is sour with lemons, vinegar, strong spice presence, and some grassy notes. Slightly bitter finish. Overall pretty good.

This poured a black color with a beige head. The aroma contains some chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, but some chemical smell in there but it doesn’t distract too much from the beer. The flavor is rather sweet with some espresso, chocolate, and a hint of coffee. Overall a nice beer.

A dark copper apperance with little head. The aroma was mainly caramel. The flavor was very nutty with some caramel and chocolate notes. The palate was a bit thin but it wasnt too bad for a brown ale.

The flavor is very complex on the bitter side of things with some pine, lemons, and tropical fruit. Overall if you are aiming for hopheads you nailed it otherwise you didnt. Good beer for the hop freaks.

On tap at Taco Mac, Midtown......This poured a solid black color with a perfectly squared off white head. You guessed it, NITRO! The aroma is that of coffee, licorice, and a hint of chocolate. This had some body for a nitro but the usual deal for a dry stout......thin body, tons of coffee, slightly bitter. Overall a nice beer but this style seems to be very redundant!

Orange apperance with a sweet candy like aroma. Flavor is very sweet with a buttery citrus taste. Is this the good ship lollipop because it tastes like it! A decent beer but not well balanced.

The palate is a little thin but they keep going on about the quality of water in this beer, and there might be something to it. It sacrfices full body for a damn fine splash of water at end. This poured a cloudy yellow. A lemon, perfume, and alcohol aroma. The flavor is badass with some tangirene, lemon, apricot, and oranges. A spicy and carbonated mouthfeel. Very well done saison.

The aroma is mostly pine, lots and lots of pine, with some lemons and perfume. The taste is bitter but not excatly a wallop of hops. Very piney and lemony flavor. This was a little one dimensional and could use a little more malt but otherwise a good beer.
