Moderate wheaty and citrussy aroma with orange peel and coriander. The medium dry flavour has distinct notes of coriander, also cloves, moderate hops. Nice to drink. *Sampled again today, 330 ml bottle, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. No floaties in the glass this time, otherwise much the same.

The flavour is somewhat less intense, but has the same elements as the aroma, with a bit more citrus. Low bitterness.

The flavour has also banana and cloves, and some citrus. This must have been intended as a Hefeweizen, not a witbier? But coriander and orange peel are on the ingredients list.

May 2013: 355 ml can at Lompa Friluft, Oslo. ABV is 5.0%. Hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma and flavour of Belgian saison yeast, curacao orange peel and coriander. Fizzy mouthfeel. A good witbier, but no better than the Belgian originals, so it seems rather superfluous to import it to Europe.

June 2018: 750 ml capped bottle, with swingtop for resealing. From Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Nice witbier aroma with notes of citrus and coriander. Light bodied. Refreshing flavour, a slight sweetness, citrus and moderate coriander. Very moderate hops. Might well buy again, a typical summer beer.

330 ml bottle, as Lilland Gufne Gunhild Wiit Beer, purchased at Lilland's off-licence. Deep golden to pale brown colour, hazy brown when the yeast is poured in the end. Huge white (or slightly off-white) head, overcarbonated. Perfumed aroma of yeast, chamomile, orange peel and coriander. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has too strong notes of chamomile and yeast, with orange peel and coriander in the background.

Oct. 2015: 355 ml bottle, from the Danish importer. ABV is 4.0%. Certified organic. Pale yellow colour, small white head. Strong aroma of over-ripe mixed berries. Light bodied. Dry flavour, with discrete notes of mixed berries, hardly any bitterness nor any other sign of hops. Not a winner by me.

Nov. 2014: 250 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.7%. Hazy straw colour, large to moderate white head. Strong wheaty and yeasty aroma of citrus / orange peel, coriander and cloves, hints of bananas. The flavour is citrussy and refreshing, followed by moderate spicy notes of coriander and cloves, banana in the finish. Very moderate hops.

June 2016: 330 ml red bottle, as Brasserie de Monaco Blanche Tradition, from Vaaland, Bryne, thanks to gunnar. ABV is 4.7%. The bottled beers are brewed in France by Brasserie Meteor for Brasserie de Monaco. Hazy and extremely pale straw colour, moderate to low white head. Nice citrussy and wheaty aroma, notes of banana, cloves and coriander. Refreshing citrussy and wheaty flavour, medium dry and light bodied, moderate spicy notes, minimal hops.

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark, probably at Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 5.4%. BB date 20.07.13. Hazy orange colour, large white head. Smells a bit "off", sweetish notes of malts and caramel, only hints of banana and cloves. The flavour is somewhat better, malty character, not too sweet, but again the typical hefeweizen notes of "banana & cloves" are very subdued. Lacks some of the "freshness" of a better hefeweizen, Might buy a fresher bottle at another occasion, to re-rate.

Refreshing wheaty flavour, notes of yeast, grain, orange peel and coriander. Original rating, 3.0: Sample at Vecturamesse (Strag). Pale golden colour. Grainy / wheaty aroma and flavour. Not really impressive.
