6901 | Tuborg NUL Øl & Mango Passion | Denmark | Reduced Alcohol | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml slimline can, as Tuborg Nul Øl & Mango Passion, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 0.0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate but shortlived white head. Aroma of mango and passionfruit, kind of artificial. Medium sweet flavour, notes of said fruits, hints of malts in the background. Not something I'll buy again. |

6902 | Harboe Alkoholfri | Denmark | Reduced Alcohol | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml can, as Harboe Alkoholfri, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 0.5% or less. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Typical n/a beer aroma of wort and baby porridge. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has also notes of baby porridge, a little citrus, and some metallic bittering hops in the finish. Pretty bad. |

6903 | Munkholm Classic | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.7
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml can. Pale golden colour, decent white head. The usual n/a sickly "boiled" notes (over-boiled vegetables, maize grit) in the aroma (and to some extent in the flavour too). The flavour also has some malty sweetness and noticeable hops, which means that the beer is not totally undrinkable. I’d be fairly desperate for something cold and wet if I ever buy this n/a beer again, though. |

6904 | Baltika 5 (Zolotoe) | Russia | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pale yellow to golden colour. Fizzy beer with a big head. Industrial sweetish pale lager aroma, notes of maize, candy and some fruit. The flavour is fairly sweet with some fruitiness, hardly any bitterness at all. Not much to write home about here. |

6907 | Herrnbräu Gold | Germany | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, as Herrnbräu Gold, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 4.9%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of wort, grass and baby porridge. Terribly bland flavour, just a bit of unwanted sweetness. A hint of herbal hops in the finish is not enough to save this beer from being one of the worst German beers I've had. |

6908 | Røros I Hope, I Think, I IPA | Norway | IPA | 1.7
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7%. Gusher can. Hazy reddish brown colour, small off-white head. Unfresh aroma of whey, stale caramel and stale hops. Flavour of grapefruity and piney hops, some caramel and whey (which is a very bad idea). Won't buy again. |

6910 | Oslo Brewing Co. Barley Wine (Jameson BA) | Norway | American Barleywine | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.4%. Moderately hazy reddish brown colour, no head. Aroma of fusel alcohols, molasses, oak and mediocre whiskey, a hint of vomit. Very moderate carbonation. Very oaky / woody and alcoholic flavour, not very sweet, with an unexpected sharp and unpleasant bitterness in the finish, totally unbalanced. Whatever they have been trying to accomplish here, it is very poorly executed. Drainpour - what a waste of money! |

6911 | Eik & Tid Brom | Norway | Wild Ale | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Hazy pink colour, small off-white head, poor retention. Aroma of lactic acid and over-ripe raspberries. Very sour flavour, loads of lactic acid, way too sour, unbalanced. Notes of over-ripe raspberries again. Another totally unbalanced beer from Norway's most overrated brewery. |

6912 | Central Sur Jul | Norway | Spiced Beer | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Orange colour, moderate to small white head. Weird and revolting aroma of lactic acid and star anise. Fizzy mouthfeel. Sour flavour, lactic acid and loads of star anise, nothing else. Drainpour. I can't believe I paid good money for this crap. |

6913 | Pressure Drop Strictly Roots | United Kingdom | Porter | 1.7
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Feb. 2015: Shared bottle at local tasting. Black colour, moderate to low tan head. Strange and unpleasant aroma of solvent and dandelion roots, also dust and wet basement. The flavour is not particularly good either, dry and dusty with notes of stale cold coffee. Remarkably poor. |

6914 | Aigua de Moritz | Spain | Reduced Alcohol | 1.7
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, bought at ICA Middelthon, Stavanger. ABV is 0,0%. Pale golden colour, big white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. First a fresh "skunky" whiff, then the usual n/a beer aroma of over-boiled vegetables, maize grit and baby porridge. The mouthfeel is watery and soft, the flavour is fairly dry with a hint of citrus, moderate and slightly metallic hops in the finish. Not completely undrinkable. |

6915 | Carlsberg Lite | Denmark | Light / Lite Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml can, "license brewed" in Norway by Ringnes (which is 100% Carlsberg owned). ABV is 4.1%. Pale yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Sweetish aroma, notes of candy, grass, grain and cooked vegetables. The very bland flavour has some very moderate malts and not much else, hardly any hops in the "empty" finish. Not awful enough to be undrinkable, but utterly boring. |

6916 | Efes Pilsener | Turkey | Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 (330 ml bottle). Very pale yellow colour, decent head. Sweet fruity aroma. Flavour is, uh, thin... some alcoholic/fusel notes, like Norwegian "hjemmebrent" (="moonshine"). Might be drinkable ice cold at the beach of Antalya. Anywhere else: Avoid! |

6919 | Pripps Bla Klass III | Sweden | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 I got this pale swill lager in a 4.7% grocery store version in Norway some years ago, ABV in Sweden is now 5.2% (only available at Systembolaget). According to other reviewers, the slightly increased alcohol hasn't helped much. Typical pale lager colour, aroma is weak and unpleasant. Nasty metallic and watery flavour. Not to be recommended! |

6920 | Hellenic Star | Greece | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 (33 cl can, bought in Greece). Pale golden colour, low to none head. NO aroma (well, I had a bit of a cold, but there can’t possibly be much there. I had no problem smelling the Hefeweissbier I had afterwards). Thin mouthfeel, sweetish fruity flavour but not unpleasant, just a hint of hop bitterness in the finish. |

6921 | Sol | Mexico | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 There are so much better beers "under the sun" - there's really no reason to buy Sol. Same category as Corona, same silly lime slice gimmick. Unbelievably, this swill is imported to Norway. Only for idiots who think they look "cool" when drinking it out of the bottle. Pass. |

6922 | Lapin Kulta Strong IV B | Finland | Strong Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 (500 ml can). Golden, low head, very alcoholic, sweet but at least there are some hops too. Overall boring, but I didn't find it too easily drinkable - which means that I won't get drunk as fast as the tougher Finns who constitute the target group of this beer. Having met this group as they were busy breaking empty bottles, puking and pissing in every doorway in downtown Helsinki on a Friday night (as early as 10 p.m.) - I say: You're welcome! |

6923 | Bucegi 4.2% | Romania | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 I’ve noticed many raters frequently use the term ’bland’ for a lot of beers, appropriate or not. Now listen guys: You don’t fully realize what a ’bland’ beer is before you have sampled Bucegi! A remnant of the communist era, Bucegi was withdrawn from the market in 1995, but re-launched in February 2002, to nourish some Romanians’ nostalgic sentiments of the good old bad old times. |

6924 | Ringnes Eagle Super Strong Beer | Norway | Strong Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Ringnes first tried to call this beer "Loaded" (clearly identifiing the target consumer group), but that was stopped by the Norwegian "Morality Police". Head disappears quickly, colour just slightly darker than a pils, sweet aroma of fruit, vegetables and alcohol, flavour grossly dominated by alcohol and not very good hops, unpleasant aftertaste that luckily doesn't last for long. Not a beer I'll buy again. This shit won't even get me drunk fast (despite 10.2% ABV), as I just can't manage swallowing it fast. Urk! |

6925 | Lysholmer Double Ice Summer Edition | Norway | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 (500 ml can). Very pale golden colour, decent head. Weak aroma, but some pleasant aromatic hops are there. Little flavour and aftertaste as expected, at least it’s not offensive. Hardly discernible from the ordinary Lysholmer Double Ice. Clean enough to be a tolerable thirstquencher - if you look for taste, look somewhere else. |
