6901 | Adlerbrau Tipo Pilsen | Spain | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, ABV 5%, in Spain. Ingredients include antioxidant E-224 and maize. Golden colour, moderate white head. Boring aroma of cooked vegetables and grain. The flavour has some maize and grainy notes, a little sweetness, and weak hops in the finish. Boring. |

6902 | Spar Cerveza | Spain | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, bought in a SPAR store in Tenerife. ABV is 4.8%. Ingredients include maize and stabilizer E-405. Very pale straw coloured beer, big to moderate white head. Sweetish, grassy and dusty aroma, hints of maize, not good. Boring flavour, "dusty" with just a little hops, but not totally undrinkable when cold. |

6903 | Carlsberg Non-Alcoholic | Sweden | Reduced Alcohol | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3 330 ml green bottle, from REMA 1000. ABV is 0.5%. Crystal clear pale yellow colour, moderate but lasting white head. Heineken-like "skunky" and grassy aroma, which is a good thing, compared to other n/a beers. Sweetish notes of pilsener wort too. Thin and watery mouthfeel, as expected. Very moderate flavour, a little sweetness, a little hops. The good thing is: there are no really offensive off-flavours. If you have to drive, this beer might help you avoid dying of thirst. |

6904 | Mo Eventyrøl Lys | Norway | Blonde Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Sample on tap at Gladmatfestivalen 2011. Golden colour, moderate white head. Very fruity aroma, notes of green apples. The flavour has loads of green apples and little else, and is not good at all. The beer has apparently been fermented at a too high temperature. |

6905 | Quilmes Cerveza | Argentina | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 4 330 ml bottle, as Quilmes Cerveza, from Super Cor, La Manga (Spain). ABV is 4.9%. Pale yellow colour, pearly carbonation, low and short-lived head. Sweetish aroma, notes of maize, grass and citrus. Tolerably fresh flavour, notes of citrus. An okay refreshment on a hot day, nothing more. |

6906 | El Corte Ingles Cerveza Tipo Lager | Spain | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, from Super Cor, La Manga. ABV is 4.8%. Golden colour, low head. The aroma has some malts, otherwise it is "industrial" and uninteresting. The flavour is maltier than the Aliada Tipo Pilsen (which was displayed side by side), and there are some hops in the finish - unfortunately the bitterness is metallic and unpleasant. |

6907 | Baltika 7 (Export) | Russia | Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 330 ml green bottle with pull-off cap, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.4%. Very pale yellow colour, big head. Sweetish fruity and grassy aroma, also notes of candy. Sweet flavour, far too sweet for a pale lager, notes of fruit and candy. Low bitterness. Not my kind of beer. |

6908 | Salitos Cerveza Especial | Germany | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, ABV is 4.7%. Despite being bought at ICA Gourmet in Oslo: this not a beer for gourmets, nor for people who love good beer. Crystal clear pale yellow colour, big to moderate head. "Skunky" sweetish aroma, notes of citrus. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is fairly sweet with a hint of citrus, minimal bitterness. Boring as hell, but not repulsive when cold. May serve as a thirstquencher on hot days, for people who otherwise would buy Corona or Sol. My first bottle (which I actually paid for) will also be my last. |

6909 | Fuglebjerggaard 88. Bryg - Kølster Nattens Dronning | Denmark | English Strong Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3 Bottle, ABV 6.5%, at RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Orange colour, slightly hazy, moderate head. "Rotten" and infected aroma, some notes of citrus too. The flavour has some notes of citrus and caramel, but is generally "unfresh" and has very little to brag about. |

6910 | Karmi Poema di Caffe | Poland | Reduced Alcohol | 2.1
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 400 ml clear bottle, thanks to my son Steinar. Bought in Poland. ABV is 0.5%. Very dark brown coffee-like colour, big and lasting beige head. Strong sweetish aroma of coffee, vanilla and chocolate. The flavour is very sweet with strong notes of chocolate and vanilla, the coffee is more subdued here. Tastes like a chocolate drink, blindfolded I would never have guessed that this was a beer. Weird, but not totally undrinkable. |

6911 | Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Alkoholfrei | Germany | Reduced Alcohol | 2.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml bottle, bought in Sweden. ABV is 0.5%. Golden colour, slightly hazy, huge white head. The aroma has some hefeweizen notes of banana and cloves, but also hints of the more typical n/a beer notes like over-boiled vegetables and baby porridge. Not quite as bad as many other n/a beers, though. The mouthfeel is thin, as expected. The bland flavour has some weak notes of citrus and wheat malts, hardly any noticeable hops. |

6912 | Harboe Skælskør Original Pale Ale | Denmark | Blonde Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5%. Harboe is not mentioned anywhere on the label, so they obviously try to fake an impression of this beer being brewed in a micro brewery. Their "pilsener type pale ale" is another evidence that these clowns know absolutely nothing about brewing good beer. Golden colour, moderate white head. "Chemical" and "artificial" aroma, sweetish notes of candy and harsh butter. Pale lager flavour, fizzy mouthfeel, dusty and metallic hops in the finish. A poor beer, but not totally undrinkable. |

6914 | Vinje Tvisyn | Norway | American Pale Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml bottle, batch #228, from Nærbutikken, Åkrafjordtunet. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy golden brown colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yeast, malts and red berries. The flavour is definitely too yeasty, tastes like the first time homebrew that the brewer tries to forget. Some malts, but the beer is not sweet. There are some hops too, but they kind of disappear in all the yeastiness. |

6915 | La Caracole Ambree | Belgium | Belgian Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 October 2014: Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, ABV is 7.5%. Cloudy orange colour (i had the yeast poured in), white head. Aroma of over-ripe berries, also some cheesy notes. Bland and unfresh flavour, hints of over-ripe berries. Not good. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can, from Rema 1000 Jørpeland. ABV is 4.3%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of sweetish malts and newmown grass, some floral hops. Thin and citric mouthfeel. The flavour has a little citrus and sweet notes of toffee, moderate bittering hops in the aftertaste. Could have been worse. |

6919 | Tusker Lager | Kenya | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 5 Nov. 2012: Shared 500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 4.2%. Pale golden colour, low white head. Very moderate aroma, some sweetish and grainy, hints of hay. At least it is not offensive. Light bodied as expected. Clean pilsener flavour, too little of everything, but again: not offensive. Might work well in the Kenyan heat, not on a late autumn day in Norway. |

6920 | Uinta Cutthroat Pale Ale | United States | American Pale Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Nov. 2015: On tap at Taps, Petaluma, as Uinta Wet Hop Pale, 4.2% ABV. Lack of body was maybe not a great surprise, but the lack of hoppy freshness in both aroma and flavour was. Maybe the biggest disappointment during my visit to California. |

6922 | Indslev Julehvede | Denmark | Hefeweizen | 2.1
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 November 2012: Shared 500 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, at Cardinal Yule beer tasting. Surprisingly dull aroma, no sign of the typical wheat beer notes, just some dust. The flavour is somewhat better than the aroma, sweetish notes, hints of cloves and banana. Very far from a great beer though, the most inferior I’ve had from Indslev. |

6923 | Hobsons Twisted Spire | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 April 2013: 500 ml clear bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 3.6%. Very pale golden colour, moderate white head. Typical clear bottle "skunky" and Heineken-like aroma. Sharpish hoppy bitterness throughout, but little hop flavour besides the bitterness. No body to support the bitterness. Not a very nice beer, the poorest I’ve had from Hobsons so far. Won’t buy again. |

6924 | Telemark Pilsner (Sheriff Pils) | Norway | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.0

Original rating: 330 ml bottle, as Telemark Sheriffpils, from the brewery, ABV is 4.7%. Brownish golden colour, slightly hazy, small white head. Aroma of yeast and malts, some herbal hops. Citric mouthfeel. Yeasty and grainy flavour, some sharpish and medicinal bittering hops. Not good. |
