6877 | Ringnes Grill Pils | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can. ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, decent head. Sweetish aroma with notes of flowers and corn. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Very moderate malts and hops in the flavour, but not offensive. By no means a great beer, but not as bad as I feared. |

6878 | Neumarkter Lammsbräu Alkoholfrei | Germany | Reduced Alcohol | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml green bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Like all Neumarkter Lammsbräu beers, it is organic. This n/a pale lager is one of their 3-4 different n/a beers. Pale golden colour with a slight chill haze, moderate head. Strong sweetish aroma of wort and cooked vegetables, also some flowery aromatic hops with hints of honey. The flavour is quite sweet and malty, with some hints of over-boiled vegetables and maize baby porridge, but better than many other n/a beers. There are also some moderate hops around. Acceptable, if you have to drive. |

6879 | Grans Original Major Pilsner | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can (music/guitar design), from REMA 1000. Brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Weak sweetish aroma with "boiled" notes (over-boiled vegetables, maize grit). Sweetish flavour, sweeter than their previous pilseners, and definitely sweeter than a GOOD pilsener should be. No wonder they recommend drinking it "ice cold". Very moderate hops in the finish. Yawn. Next, please! |

6881 | Hverdagsprodukter Kompils | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can, bought at ICA Maxi. ABV is 4.5%. The brewery of this contract brew is not mentioned on the can, but apparently it is the Hansa Borg group. Golden colour, big to moderate fluffy head. Typical "industrial" sweetish pale lager aroma, quite strong and unpleasant. Moderate carbonation in the glass, soft mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately sweet and rather boring, but not offensive. Low bitterness. |

6882 | Hanby Cherry Bomb | United Kingdom | English Strong Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 Cask at the GBBF 2008. Deep golden colour, low coarse head. No carbonation in the glass. Strong aroma of marzipan / artificial almond essence and cherries. The flavour is also dominated by marzipan / almond essence with moderate cherries, but leaves overall an "unfresh", too sweet and rather nasty impression. Might have been slightly better if colder and with some carbonation. Worst beer of the festival for me. |

6883 | Små Vesen Yme Pils | Norway | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 2.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml stubby bottle, bought at Hotel Havana, Oslo. Brewnr. 2, BB date July 2009. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy golden colour, huge and lasting head. Aroma of citrus and cider, hints of cider vinegar. The flavour is citrussy and vinegary sour, apparently infected, like so many other batches from Små Vesen. Not a drainpour, but pretty close. |

6884 | Kingfisher Lager | India | Pale Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 (330 ml bottle, brewed by Shepherd Neame, England). I have probably used this beer to wash down some Indian food in England, had to buy it again in Norway to rate it without food (by special order, it's normally sold only in our Indian restarants). Besides being wet and thus fit to help you survive a hot curry, this beer has nothing "Indian" or any other quality that should put it on a beer geek's wish list. Light golden colour, low head, Heineken-like aroma, uninteresting flavour but at least a hint of bitterness. Typical mediocre lager, not good, but not as bad as I expected. |

6887 | Egils Premium | Iceland | Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3 500 ml can, as Egils Premium Export, from Rúsan, Tórshavn. ABV is 5.7%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Moderate sweetish "industrial" aroma, hints of wet cardboard. The flavour is first medium sweet, some acidic fruity notes, hints of cardboard again, some bitterness in the dry and dusty finish. No masterpiece this one. |

6888 | Heineken 0.0 | Netherlands | Reduced Alcohol | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml green bottle, from Helgø Meny Maxi, Sandnes. Crystal clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. The aroma has first some fresh and typical Heineken notes of lightstruck hops, before the more usual n/a beer features of cooked vegetables and baby porridge take over, but not as extreme as in some other n/a beers. Thin mouthfeel as expected. The flavour is fairly dry with some hops, and the beer is not undrinkable, okay with a meal. |

6890 | Eik & Tid / Nevel Sabotasje 2 | Norway | Wild Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.7%. Clear and deep reddish brown colour, small and short-lived off-white head. Aroma of lactic acid and vinegar, notes of blackcurrants and oak. Like all beers I've had from this brewery, the flavour is way too sour, with lactic acid and vinegar galore, but at least there is some complexity here. Distinct notes of oak and blackcurrants. |

6891 | Rygr Sure-Tina Tindved & Plomme Surøl | Norway | Fruit Beer | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Hillevåg. ABV is 6.0%. Opaque orange colour, shortlived white head, some floaties remain in the glass. Aroma of lactic acid, sea buckthorn berries and plums. Very sour flavour with the same elements, way too much lactic acid. Won't buy again. |

6892 | Birra del Borgo Castanha | Italy | Spiced Beer | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 March 2016: 750 ml bottle, as Birra del Borgo CastagnAle, probably from Matkroken Stokka. BBE 12/2014. ABV is 4.2%. Beautiful reddish colour, unfortunately spoiled by loads of floaties that don’t dissolve in the beer. Moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, chestnuts and over-ripe fruits, hints of solvent. Slightly sweet flavour, with the same elements as in the aroma. Might be somewhat better fresh, but probably not my cup of tea under any circumstance. |

6894 | Lomb Peer Gynt | Norway | Lager | 2.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 April 2021: 500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Nearly clear deep golden to amber colour, small and thin white head. Aroma of juniper, hints of black crowberries, stale jam, caramel, wort and stale bread. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel. Medium dry and dull flavour, hints of the same elements as the aroma. The juniper and crowberries should have had the potential to make the beer more interesting, but there is too little of them, and too much of not-so-nice grainy and bready elements. Hops are on the ingredients list, but I cannot say they are noticeable. As a result, the beer is utterly forgettable, and I will not buy it again. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 December 2013: Shared 1 liter can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate sweetish aroma, slightly fruity, a hint of hops - better than feared. Very sweet flavour, warming mouthfeel, some hops in the finish. Could have been worse. |

6897 | Nedstrand NB Aprikos Pilsner | Norway | Fruit Beer | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 May 2020: 330 ml bottle, batch #31, from Det Gode Brygg, Kvadrat. ABV is 4.7%. Clear and very pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of dried apricots and apricot essence, a bit "artificial". The flavour has the same apricot notes on the base of a run-of-the-mill pilsener, too modest hops. Nothing here to write home about. |

6898 | Klokk FRIPA | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 May 2020: 330 ml bottle, from Helgø Meny Stadionparken. ABV is 0.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity / citrussy hops, hints of tropical fruits. Citric and thin mouthfeel. The flavour has a distinct bitterness of metallic hops, hints of citrus and resin. I've had worse n/a beers, but this one is still not good enough to buy again. |

6899 | Bistrampolio Weissbier | Lithuania | Hefeweizen | 2.1
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 1 liter swingtop bottle, from EkoMarket, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Deep golden to pale brown colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grain, malts and stale jam, hints of decaying fruits (incl. banana), only a faint hint of cloves. Flavour of malts and grain, a little citrus, hints of stale jam. Not my favourite Hefeweizen this one. |
