231 | Dupont La Bière de Beloeil | Belgium | Biere de Garde | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Shared bottle, RBNAG 2011 in Oslo. Deep golden to amber colour. Main impression of both aroma and flavour is "moderate everything" - but this would probably stand out as a decent saison if sampled on its own, and not in immediate connection with many sours. Decent hops in the finish. |

232 | DeuS (Brut Des Flandres) | Belgium | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Shared bottle at RBNAG 2011 in Oslo, as Deus Brut des Flandres Cuvée Prestige 2010. Clear and sparkling straw coloured beer. Dryish aroma, moderate but very pleasant farmhouse notes. Very dry and crisp flavour, no doubt a fine beer, but is it worth the high price? |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Bottles, shared at Holmen Nanobryggeri’s annual Christmas/Yule beer tasting. ABV 7.2%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Spicy aroma. Moderately spicy flavour. Decent and drinkable, but a bit too far out on the "light" end of what is acceptable for a Christmas brew. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 330 ml bottle, a gift from gunnar, many thanks! ABV is 10.0%. Very cloudy brown colour, big off-white head. Strong sweetish aroma of Belgian ale yeast and a complex symphony of spices, also notes of honey and dark dried fruits. The flavour is fairly sweet with notes of spices, brown kandij sugar, caramel and oak. Good stuff! |

244 | Boon Kriek | Belgium | Fruit Lambic | 3.6
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 375 ml green "champagne" bottle, vintage 2009, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4%. Ingredients include 25% cherries, sugar and sweetener. Beautiful red colour, big pink head. Lovely aroma of preserved cherries and cherry candy. The flavour is of course also dominated by cherries, but is neither as sweet nor as sour as I expected. Pleasant to drink, but the finish may feel a bit "empty". |

245 | Brussels Fruit Beer Red Fruits. | Belgium | Fruit Beer | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, as Brussels Fruit Beer Red Fruits, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.2%. Murky red / pink colour, huge pinkish off-white head. Pleasant sweetish aroma of mixed red fruits and berries. Sweet flavour of red fruits and berries again. Not much here to remind you that this a beer, but if you want a fruit drink with little alcohol, this one might be good enough. |

246 | Brussels Fruit Beer Apple | Belgium | Fruit Beer | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, as Brussels Fruit Beer Appel 100% Natural, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.2%. Very pale hazy straw colour, huge white head. Moderate aroma of apple juice, also some "dusty" and wheaty notes, a hint of cloves. Medium sweet flavour of apple juice mixed with wheat beer (cause that is what this beer actually is), just a hint of cloves, no bitterness. Refreshing, but not very interesting. |

247 | Brussels Fruit Beer Peaches | Belgium | Fruit Beer | 3.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, as Brussels Fruit Beer Peaches, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.2%. Hazy peach-coloured beer, huge white head. Strong and beguiling aroma of peaches and peach candy. Sweet flavour (too sweet) with notes of canned peaches in light syrup. Not much else than the foamy head here to remind you that this actually is a beer. Still a a tolerable refreshment when you want a fruit drink with little alcohol. |
