2 | Alpha Eagle | Andorra | Blonde Ale | 1.5
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 June 2014: Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to Gunnar. ABV is 5.1%. Our first Andorra beer, hell yeah! Cloudy golden colour, moderate white head. Yeasty and hoppy aroma, notes of sulphur. Sour flavour, totally gone bad (possibly from travel). Will rerate again if I get it fresh in Andorra. |

Pale yellow colour, pearly carbonation, low and short-lived head. Sweetish aroma, notes of maize, grass and citrus. Tolerably fresh flavour, notes of citrus. An okay refreshment on a hot day, nothing more. |

5 | Kilikia | Armenia | Pale Lager | 2.3
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml green bottle, many thanks to the ever attentive yngwie, who this way gave me a new "beer country" on my list. ABV is 4.8%. Appears to be imported to Sweden via France. Golden colour, large and lasting white head. "Skunky" Heineken-like aroma (which I do not necessarily find horrible) , also some less pleasant vegetable notes. The flavour is first slightly citrussy and refrehing, then overtaken by unpleasant notes of cardboard, over-boiled vegetables, dust and metallic hop extract. Disgusting aftertaste. Sure, you could probably survive on Kilikia in the Armenian summer heat, but there is hardly any reason to export this stuff. |

11 | Fosters Lager | Australia | Pale Lager | 1.6
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 (330 ml bottle, ABV 4.5%): Light golden colour, large head that doesn't last long. Initial fresh Heineken-like aroma that doesn't linger, bland watery flavour, aftertaste has a little strange and unpleasant bitterness in the end. So boring they could have named it "Neville Chamberlain". |

Crystal clear pale golden colour, fizzy, with a big to moderate lasting white head. Moderate fruity aroma, notes of candy and citrus. Zesty mouthfeel. 15 | Fosters Twist | Australia | Fruit Beer | 1.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Brewed in the EU. ABV is 4.5%. Contains 1.1% lemon juice and 0.3% lime juice. Pale golden colour, large and lasting head. Weak aroma, just a whiff of citrus. Flavour is citrussy sweet, in an artifical way. Not really offensive, but not very good either. No bitterness nor any "real beer" character. Minimal aftertaste. Blindfolded I wouldn’t be sure that this was a beer at all. |

16 | Little Creatures Pale Ale | Australia | American Pale Ale | 4.2
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 330 ml bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget). Imported to Europe by Hamana Ltd. Herts, England. Bottle conditioned. ABV is 5.2%. Golden colour, nearly clear (just a faint haziness), rich head. Lovely hoppy aroma, notes of citrus and tropical fruits. The flavour is distinctly hoppy but not too bitter, citrus again, on a base of moderate but nice malty sweetness. A very nice pale ale! |

17 | Coopers Original Pale Ale | Australia | English Pale Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 375 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Also bought at Vaaland Ølutsalg, Bryne. Bottle conditioned, sediment in bottle. Pale golden colour, slightly hazy, large head. Very nice and fruity aroma, moderately spicy. The flavour has also spicy and fruity notes, slightly more rounded than their Sparkling Ale. Inspired by English (Burton-on-Trent) pale ales, but there seems also to be a "Belgian" touch here. Very nice and drinkable. |

18 | Coopers Sparkling Ale | Australia | Blonde Ale | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 375 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned, sediment in bottle. In the first pour the beer is crystal clear golden, hazy in the final pour. Sparkling indeed, but when the initial huge head subsides a little, the carbonation in the glass is not too bad. Fruity aroma with notes of spices. The flavour is also fruity and moderately spicy. Alcohol is noticeable but not disturbing, the beer is fairly light bodied and easy drinking. |

Fairly moderate but nice aroma, chocolate, malts and a slight fruitiness. The flavour has a distinct roastiness with plenty of coffee and dark chocolate. Bitter finish, both from the roasted barley and hops. A very powerful and impressive beer. |
