6904 | Uinta Cutthroat Pale Ale | United States | American Pale Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Nov. 2015: On tap at Taps, Petaluma, as Uinta Wet Hop Pale, 4.2% ABV. Lack of body was maybe not a great surprise, but the lack of hoppy freshness in both aroma and flavour was. Maybe the biggest disappointment during my visit to California. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. This beer is intended as an accompaniment with "surströmming", the fermenting fish that only Swedes can love. Pale golden colour. Moderately hoppy and grassy aroma. Grassy flavour with some sweetish notes, thin and boring. |

6911 | Unertl Weißbier | Germany | Hefeweizen | 4.0
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 500 ml bottle, bought in Germany. ABV is 4.9%. Not to be confused with Unertl Mühldorfer Weissbier (different brewery, different town). Hazy orange-brownish colour, huge off-white head. Lovely aroma of ripe fruits with vinous notes, oak, bananas and cloves. Flavour is moderately acidic and lemony, with faint notes of wood, sour dough bread and cloves. Light bodied. Like most weissbiers a relatively short aftertaste. I drank it slightly too warm, must be very refreshing when colder, esp. on a fine summer’s day. |

A pity there is no carbonation (bad idea). |

Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Dark brown beer with a huge beige head. Very fine and complex aroma with vinous notes, also notes of oak, spices, cocoa, red berries and dark fruits, hints of barnyard and tobacco. The flavour is sweet, vinous and fruity, quite smooth for 9% ABV beer. Moderate hops. Many of the elements of the aroma stay with you through the flavour and aftertaste. An excellent beer! |

6921 | Union Pilsner | Norway | Pale Lager | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 330 ml green bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, moderate but lasting white head. Moderate sweetish aroma, notes of grass and grain. The flavour is fairly "fresh" and fruity, sweeter than the crispest of pilseners but not sickly, some grainy notes, soft mouthfeel, with a noticeable hoppy bitterness in the finish. For a new Norwegian pilsener, this is not too bad. |
