The aroma is dominated by roasted coffee and dark chocolate but there are hints of nutmeg present. The mouthfeel is full bodied, creamy, with average carbonation. The bottle says the beer is brewed with cocoa, coffee, peppers, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg and while the peppers, vanilla, and cinnamon are lost in the aroma, they can all be detected in the flavour. The peppers provide a perfect amount of heat, for me anyway, to make this the best beer I've tried in a long time.

The aroma is Belgian yeast, some tart cherry notes, roasted malt, and burnt caramel. The mouthfeel is full bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is sweet roasted malt, burnt caramel, some nutty notes, and yeast. This beer warms the stomach, which means it would have best been drank when I bought it as there was snow on the ground and currently it is 75 degrees.

Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and copius amounts of anise and chocolate. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, quite possibly the fullest bodied beer I have ever tried. The flavour is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and smoke. An excellent beer.

The beer was a cloudy orange-brown colour. The aroma was a strong yeasty aroma with some perfumy florals. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with a fair amount of carbonation. The taste has hints of malt and bread with no bitterness whatsoever.

The beer poured a dark chocolate brown into a unibroue tulip glass with a very generous brown head. The aroma was reminiscent of malt, chocolate, and coffee. The mouthfeel is thick with mild carbonation. The flavour was very good, some malt and coffee hints.

The beer poured a dark brown, with a thick creamy tan coloured head that lingered a few minutes. The aroma was sweet malt, some yeast, some dark fruit, and some spices. The mouthfeel was creamy, full-bodied, with high carbonation. The flavour was malty, sweet, yeasty...with a little licorice.

The aroma was roasted malt, coffee, and dark chocolate/cocoa. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, thich, and somewhat creamy. The flavour was a complex suite of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt.............followed by a bittering finish. An excellent beer.

The flavour was slightly sweet, yeasty, malty, toffee with plums and spice. A very good beer.

The flavour was quite complex with some tart cherry up front, and sweet malt tones in the finish. An excellent beer.

The flavour was sweet malt, candy sugar, yeast, dark fruit.....and a nice bitter finish. An excellent beer.

The beer poured a coca-cola brown colour with a thin tan creamy head into the Unibroue tulip. The aroma was dark fruit, molasses, roasted malt, and sugar. The mouthfeel was full bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was blackberries, molasses, some applish and anise notes. Alcohol was completely hidden. A great beer.
