I didn't get any rye or hoppy feel from this brew. |

Not much rye character in this beer. More like a brown ale gone wrong. |

The flavour is very metallic with hints of rye and herbal hops, unfortunately not the 'spicy' rye I prefer. Like the beer I had earlier, this is not something I would try again. |

The flavour showcases the rye very well, balancing it with the barley and noble hops. This actually isn’t a bad beer. |

The flavour has a spicy tang to it, I can taste the rye, the caramel, and a weak citrus hint from the hops. Maybe it’s just me, but with a name like ‘Belgian’ Rye Ale, I expected more yeast character and I didn’t get any. |

The flavour was a nice balance of caramel sweetness and grapefruity bitterness. The rye came through a bit in the aroma but was no where to be noticed in the flavour. Still, a solid beer. |

The flavour has more of a blueberry punch than the aroma, and while it is still subtle, you can definitely notice it among the funky grains, and yeast flavours. |
