The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was malt, licorice, and sour coffee.

The flavour is weak grains with hints of wet cardboard and a weak bitter finish. There is also a doughy note that comes through in both the aroma and flavour in a strong way. There are beers on this site that taste worse than this, so I will give it credit from that standpoint, but this is not a good beer unless rated to style

The aroma was strong citrus hops (I could smell them while the beer was 3 feet away from me), some grains (although not very rye like), and some spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is heavy on the grapefruit flavours with a nice malt balance, and some zestiness. I can see why this is being hailed as one of the best IPAs in Ontario.
