The beer pours a solid black colour with a thin brown ring for a head. The aroma was roasted malt, vanilla, and coffee. Mouthfeel was medium bodied, but thin for a porter, and had medium carbonation. Flavour was quite dry and licoricy for a porter. Bitter coffee, alcohol and roasted malt are the dominant notes. The aftertaste suggests that this was a barrel aged beer.

The flavour was sweet with a huge blast of coffee, and some malt, although slightly watery.

It's a golden red, clear, with a creamy head. The aroma is dark malt, some hops, and some caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and medium carbonation. The flavour is reminiscent of an English Pale Ale more than a porter with a less roasted malt profile than I would have expected.

The flavour is sour grainy malt, with a hint of maple sweetness.

The beer poured a brownish black with a finger thick tannish creamy head. The aroma was a mixture of roasted malts and chocolate. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, creamy, and medium carbonation. The taste was definitely chocolatey. The alcohol, while not tasted, was certainly felt.
