473ml can
4.8% ABV
Royal Bank Plaza LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
December 4, 2014
The beer pours a dark black with a half inch brown cap. The aroma is roasted malt, vanilla, and coffee. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with below average carbonation. The flavour is sweet chocolate with hints of vanilla and coffee. Tastes great, but way too thin.

473ml can
6.0% ABV
Canned On: November 11, 2019
LCBO Outlet #411 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Wellesley)
November 30, 2019
$3.55
The beer pours a very dark brownish-black with a 1” foamy cap which recedes quickly, quite sad for a stout. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, and that soy sauce note. No noticeable chocolate aromas for this one. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is balanced between the coffee and nutty malty notes. There is a hint of some sweetness, but it is not very strong.

12oz draught
5.6% ABV
C'est What? (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
January 31, 2020
$7.50
The beer poured a solid black colour with a thin brown ring for a head. The aroma is roasted malt, light notes of vanilla and coffee, and a weak hint of peppers. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is ALL habanero peppers. If you like your beer spicy, this is the beer for you. If not, stay away. The initial flavour is chocolate, but that quickly gives way to the spicy hot pepper feel (and flavour).

March 11, 2022
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
473ml can
4.50%
Canned On: November 16, 2021
$3.95
The beer pours a solid coca-cola colour with a creamy light tan coloured head which lasts a while and leaves some good lacing down the glass. The aroma is peanut forward with grassy malts and coffee in the mix. I don’t get any raspberry whatsoever. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The raspberry does come through in the flavour, but is still very light and lost in the mix of chocolate and peanuts. Finish isn’t very bitter at all.

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6

473ml can
5.5% ABV
Canned On: June 5, 2019
LCBO Outlet #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
July 20, 2019
$3.35
The beer pours a solid black colour with absolutely no head - none. Quite disappointing for a Sawdust City beer. The aroma is light coffee notes, roasted malt, and weak herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma with notes or roasted malt, coffee, and weak hops. For a beer that is only 6 weeks old, from a brewer I enjoy, this beer is a huge disappointment!
