The aroma is slightly sweet malt, dark fruits, and a little hops. The mouthfeel was thin to medium bodied, with mild carbonation. The flavour was a tad watery with some malted sense and a little hoppish feel. Very easy to drink

20oz draught <br> 5.0% ABV <br> I tried this beer on June 23, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent reddish brown with a creamy tan coloured head which lasted. The aroma was a little bit of grainy maly with some floral hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, and lightly carbonated. The flavour is mildly hoppy with a nice bitter finish. Very drinkable.

The beer poured a translucent red with a thin tan head. The aroma was caramel malt, some nuts, and a little yeast. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, well carbonated, and crisp. The flavour is nutty malt, with a nice hop balance, a very enjoyable beer.

The flavour was malty, with a little hint of both sourness and bitterness detected on the tongue.....but no discernable flavours to account for either.

Some sweetness up front, and a lot of graininess and acidity in back.

The beer pours a translucent scarlket red colour with a thin white ring for a head. The aroma is caramel malt, floral hops, and some mild fruity notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour contains the Trafalgar funk, some metallic hops, and off-flavoured caramel.

The aroma is roasted malt, caramel, smoked wood and alcohol - not much in the way of hops which is surprising for a Flying Monkeys product. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbnonation. The flavour is roasted malt, smoked wood notes, alcohol, and some peppery spiciness. Decent, but not worth the price tag.

Flavour is a mish-mash of caramel up front and citrus in the finish. Easy drinking, but nothing remarkable.

The flavour is bready malts with a weak hop bitterness in the finish. Nothing offensive in the aroma or flavour but nothing that says ‘try me again’

An English style done well by an Ontario brewery.

The bartender told me it was 'blue cheese meets beer'...I laughed....I sniffed...........and damned if he wasn't right. The colour of the beer is a reddish brown. The mouthfeel is full and creamy with some mild carbonation. The taste is very similar to the smell. Beer with Blue Cheese. This iss my first Flemish sour.....and it may be my last!

An excellent beer.

The aroma is tart cherries, vinegar, and wet grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is well balanced between tart cherry and sweet cherry flavours, with some grains, burnt wood, vinegar, and yeast thrown into the mix. A very fine beer.

I bought myself this as a reward for getting a new job contract. <br> <br> The beer pours a translucent cherry red with a huge generous rocky head, light tan in colour. The sides of the glass display plenty of bubbles. The aroma is very pungent and consists of vinegar tones, tart cherries, and some weak spices. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, and heavily carbonated. The flavour is mellower than the aroma with more cherry flavour, both sweet and tart, and well as some smoky oak notes I did not detect in the nose. Not as yeast forward as the better Belgian Flanders Reds but quite good.

The cork says this is a 2018 bottle. It pours a beautiful translucent cherry red with a tan coloured cap and plenty of bubble to keep that cap alive. Aroma is vinegar, cherries, wood, and yeast. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with above average carbonation, and a ‘dry’ mouthfeel as well. Flavour starts off with sweet cherry notes, before giving way to tart cherries, vinegar, and burnt wood. The burnt wood flavour lingers on long afterwards. This beer is dangerously VERY drinkable.

The flavour is nicely balanced between the sweet and tart cherry flavours and there is a lingering bitterness that comes with Belgian red and brown sours. A great beer….what took me so long&#33;
