473ml can
5.6% ABv
Canned On: March 9, 2020
LCBO Outlet #568 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Atrium On Bay)
March 22, 2020
$4.50
The beer pours a very hazy light orange gold with a short-lived large bubbly head. The aroma is tropical fruit, musty hops, and biscuit malt. It’s definitely juicy. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is equally fruity with the grains and bitterness very well hidden. This could become a favourite.

330ml bottle
7.5% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
July 5, 2007
It poured a beautiful translucent reddish into the glass with very little head. The aroma was that of malts and fruits (apricotish). The mouthfeel is full-bodied, very smooth and crisp with a hint of carbonation. The taste is smooth with hints of yeast, malt and some sweetness and goes down very well. One of those beers that tastes better at the finish than it does at the beginning. Nothing overpowering. A very nice beer.

330ml bottle
6.9% ABV (as written on bottle)
Smokeless Joe (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
July 23, 2007
Re-Rate: Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
Re-Rated September 25, 2007
The beer was bottled on November 16, 2006 and was 6.9% ABV (as opposed to 6.2%). The beer poured a cloudy brownish gold with a head that lasted through the entire trappist glass. The carbonation was very evident in the glass. The aroma was spicy and fruity, not as yeasty as an Abbey Quadrupel. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with medium carbonation. The taste was not to my liking. The upfront taste was alright, but there was a lime-like bitterness on the back of the tongue. A very good beer, but not a great beer for me. Re-Rated on May 28, 2008 with no changes.

The beer poured a dark translucent amber colour with a white head which disappates to permanent lacing. The aroma was slightly malty, but had an unmistakable floral hoppiness that was a prelude of good things to come. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour had some hints of malt, but was very hoppy, with some grapefruit like bitterness in the finish. A very good beer.

650ml bottle
5.3% ABV
I tried this beer on May 9, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto. The beer poured a translucent orangy-brown with a thin white head. The aroma was some sweet malt, some citrus, although not really all that orangy, and some hops, although I was expecting a more hoppy assault from a beer with 5 kinds of hops in it. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with medium carbonation, and leaves a dry feeling. The flavour had a little malt in it, and some bitter hop tones as well to round it off. A very enjoyable beer.
