The Canned On Date is almost 17 months ago, but I’m drinking it and rating it anyway! The beer pours a hazy copper colour with a thin off-white head that doesn’t last. The aroma is vinegar, light caramel, light roast, some smoke, and molasses. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour light grains and caramel with a light bitter finish.

I think the aroma is alright, and as for appearance, there is something about beer that looks like coffee that turns me off. Even the flavour wasn't that appealing to me. I found this to be a slightly bitter beverage. Even the mouthfeel felt very thick and strong with little in the way of carbonation. I'm the only person I know who doesn't really like Guinness so it's not you people...it's me.

This beer had an aroma that reminded more of rye than wheat. It was a nice golden colour when poured. It is smooth to the tongue and is smooth tasting. I would certainly recommend this beer to somebody wanting to try a decent wheat beer without paying through the nose.

Overall, a decent beer

The aroma was primarily malt with a slight hoppish hint. The mouthfeel was thick, and creamy, with very light carbonation. When taking into account the lack of carbonation, the flavour was nothing more than malted water. One could easily drink 5-6 of these as they go down easy................on this day, one was enough for me.

Only slightly better than the Confederation Ale.

The flavour is bitter with some grain and citrus notes thrown in.
