1926 Fenelon Falls Brewing Vienna Lager Canada Vienna / Amber Lager 2.9

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6

473ml can
5.0% ABV
Canned ON: August 27, 2019
LCBO Outlet #010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Summerhill)
September 28, 2019
$3.50
The beer pours a transparent medium gold colour, with orange hues, and a foamy white cap which doesn’t last very long. The aroma is grainy malt, earthy hops, and weak yeast notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. While the beer does not look like a Vienna, the flavour reminds you that it is. There is a definite hint of caramel sweetness, with a mildly bitter hop finish. Unfortunately, there is a tartness that also accompanies the sweetness but lingers longer.

1927 Left Field Brewery Squeeze Play Sour (Black Currant) Canada Wild Ale 2.9

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

335ml can
4.8% ABV
Canned On: July 3, 2019<br? LCBO Outlet #457 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Yonge / Eglinton)
October 1, 2019
$3.95
The beer pours a translucent ruby red with a thin pink film for a cap. The aroma is tart fruit including cherries, apples, and raspberries with hints of grass, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. I’m not sure what beer the other reviewers had, but the contents of my can are very tart, so tart it actually tastes like vinegar with weak notes of black currant. I’m not impressed.

The aroma is tropical fruit, light cereal, dishsoap, and light herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4

August 7, 2007
Smokeless Joe’s (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 125 John Street)
592ml draught
4.50% ABV
Kegged On: Unknown
$6.75
The beer was a beautiful translucent red that reminded me of a Paulaner Salvator with very little head. The aroma was light on malt with a hint of raspberry. The mouthfeel was very weak...watery and no carbonation. The flavour was a combination of raspberry and coffee. The scary part of this beer is that after taking my notes from the first taste and writing them down..........the last 2/3 of the beer went down in maybe 5 seconds. This beer was WEAK. .

500ml can
7.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
March 18, 2008
The beer poured a translucent orangy-gold colour with a generous white fluffy head that disappeared quite quickly. The aroma was very grassy with very little other discernable aromas. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, ample carbonation, with a little bitterness. The flavour was again a lot of grass with a little bit of hoppy bitterness. When it comes to Holsten brews, this is not as good as the Festbock, but better than the Premium.
