Flavour is nut malt with some roasted coffee hints, and a touch of caramel and weak hops. More enjoyable than the Spring Imp, but still an average drinkable beer.

I tried this beer on December 22, 2010 at "Bar Volo" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden orange in a tulip glass with a half inch tan head and quite a bit of effervescence. The aroma was pine, citrus hops, and some sweet malt hints. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was weak malt, heavy grapefruity hops, but not very well balanced

The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was citrusy hops, and grainy malt.

The flavour was slightly sweet, tomatoey, with cinnamon and nutmeg, and a weak bitter finish.

The beer pours a translucent dark brown colour (when held to light) with a thin white creamy head. First aroma is dish soap, followed by some nut malt, roast, and coffee notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is coffee, chocolate, and some sweet caramel hints. Not very hoppy.

The aromas were grtass, citrusy hops, spices, and orange peel. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was definitely on the bitter side with very little sweetness brought on by any of the malt or fruit aromas. Generous amounts of orange and grapefruit and a sharp bitter end dominate the flavour. Would be a very sessionable beer had it not been for the bitter aftertaste.

The flavour was light molasses backed up by roast coffee hints. An alright starter for the afternoon.

Some smoke comes through, and unfortunately so does the alcohol. Looks great, great body, but the rest of it just doesn't do it for me at this price point.

The flavour is quite bitter with roasted malt and coffee flavours backed by some chocolate. No sweet notes to be found.
