2001 | Omnipollo Zodiak | Sweden | IPA | 3.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 500ml can
6.2% ABV
Canned On: July 3, 2018
Yonge Eglinton Centre LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
$3.75
August 3, 2018
The beer pours a hazed light peach colour with a snow white generous rocky head that dissipates very slowly. The aromas are light biscuit malt and very strong papaya and passion fruit notes. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour sticks to the sweet side with the fruity notes of tropical fruit shining through. There is very little bitterness in the finish. The beer is dangerously drinkable for a 6.2% IPA. |

2002 | Omnipollo Mimmi Mimosa | Sweden | Wild Ale | 3.2
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 473ml can
7.00% ABV
Canned On: June 24, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
November 23, 2020
$4.50
The look and smell of the beer is that or orange juice as it’s a nice opaque orange colour with a very short-lived head, despite a heavy pour. Again, the aroma is all oranges with a hint of perfumey hops and yeast. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a lot of carbonation. The flavour is very much orange juice as well with hints of grass and hops. There is a belly warming alcohol presence in the sense you feel it, but don’t taste it. It smells and tastes good, but not what I want in a beer. |

Plenty of effervescence is visible. Aroma is pine, citrus, honey, and grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is light grapefruit, wood, and notes of honey and grainy malt. Quite good. |

2004 | Omnipollo Agamemnon | Sweden | Imperial Stout | 4.3
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 473ml can
11.50% ABV
Canned On: December 13, 2019
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
April 27, 2020
$5.95
The beer pours a dark black colour with a creamy brown head that lasts a while. The aroma is dominated by roasted malt, coffee, and maple. Closer analysis reveals notes of grass, vanilla, and dark chocolate as well. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, chalky, and with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma, roasted malt sweetened my maple, with a mildly bitter hop finish. |

2006 | Carib Lager | Trinidad and Tobago | Pale Lager | 1.8
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 July 23, 2007
Smokeless Joe’s (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – 125 John Street)
330ml bottle
5.20% ABV
Bottled On: Unknown
$5.90
The beer poured a translucent pale gold with a 1cm dense head that dissipated very quickly. The aroma was full of corn, wheat and grass. Not at all appealing. The mouthfeel wasn’t as crisp as I was expecting and had a medium-body feel with some carbonation. The taste was thick with corn, and as I was finishing the beer, it got cornier (no pun intended). |
