The beer poured a translucent dark reddish-brown colour with very little head. The aroma was molasses, caramel, and smoked wood. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was smoke, molasses, and roasted nuts.

The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee. Mouthfeel is medium-full with medium carbonation. Flavour is definite roast with hints of chocolate and caramel. Easy drinking, but not outstanding.

Two straight beers from Renaissance that lost their fizz on the way to Canada. The aroma roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, and coffee. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma with the coffee and chocolate bitterness predominating.

The fruits aren't very noticeable in the flavour. A very good beer.

The flavour is very sweet with notes of brown sugar, caramel, and hint of hop bitterness in the finish.

The aroma is molasses, raisins, grains, and some caramelly notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet up front with hints of molasses and caramel, and a bitter in back with notes of yeast and grains. A very good beer, on par with the brewer's other offerings.

The aroma is grains, yeast, and noble-ish hops. The mouthfeel is light bodied with average carbonation. The flavour leans heavily towards the malty side of the spectrum without being overly sweet.

The flavour is roasted malt, some leather flavours, and a decent bitter finish.

The aroma was a nice grainy aroma that screamed 'drink me!' It is smooth and crisp on the tongue with small hints of carbonation. The favour is crisp and clean with hints of grain. I will definitely try this again.

The mouthfeel was light. almost watery, and little carbonation. The taste was very grassy was well, with some malty hints.

The flavour was similar to the aroma in that it was very malty with very little other discernable flavours. This beer is readily available in Canada, but is simply an average brew at best. Not something I would consider buying again
