The first flavour that hits the tongue is tart fruit, as it sits on the tongue, some sweetness slowly evolves. Not something I would drink regularly, fortunately it’s Flying Monkeys so it is probably a one-off.

The flavour was tart with notes of fruits, vinegar, and wet grass. There was no hoppy bitterness in the finish.

The flavour was light malty grains, yeast, and very bitter citrus peel.

No bitterness that I can discern in the finish.

The flavour takes me by surprised as there is a somewhat tangy and sour note. Not something I associate with light lagers.

Flavour is balanced between the sweet caramel malt notes, and the light citrus notes. Finish isn’t overly bitter. A very nice Canadian altbier.

Effervescence is very high and lacing is good. The aroma is cereal malts, caramel, pine, and citrus. So far it seems like an old school West Coast IPA. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a nice mash up of caramel notes, piney flavours, and bitter citrus. Definitely worth trying again.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The predominant flavours are caramel and whiskey. The alcohol is definitely noticeable. Interesting, and not as bad as I thought it would be.

The mouthfeel is ligt to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour tends to the tart side of the spectrum, with some grains and a definite salty presence on the tongue. Finish is more salty than bitter

It’s actually quite good as a light refreshing drink. Not very beer like, but still something one can reach for when they want a beer.

The flavour is hard to define. There are some light grains, but the cherry flavour is earthy and bitter more than it iss tart. My least favourite Woodhouse brew yet.
