The blueberries and the chocolate dominate the aroma but there are also hints of yeast and grains. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is tart fruit up front, and chocolate smoothness in the back end. Quite enjoyable to be honest! |

The aroma is cereal malts, weak herbal hops, some yeasty notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is “woody”. I can still taste the cereal malts, but the hops have become bitter and earthy. In fact, I’m not liking the flavour of this at all. |

762 | Stonehooker Brewing Broad Reach Nor'Easter IPA | Canada | IPA | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 473ml can
5.4% ABV
Best Before: January 24, 2021
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
April 27, 2020
$3.55
The beer pours a hazy straw colour with an off-white cap that is both creamy and rocky. A little effervescence is going on. The aroma is grapefruit, grass, and pine notes. Maybe a little yeast too, but hard to detect. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is certainly fruit forward with grapefruit and tangerine flavours coming through in abundance. Cereal flavours are present as is a weakly bitter finish. Flavourful and easy to drink, but yet, probably not a favourite. |

763 | Lake Of Bays Red Sky At Night | Canada | Fruit Beer | 1.8
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 473ml can
2.5% ABV
Canned On: December 13, 2019
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
April 27, 2020
$3.25
“Transparent Pink”. That is the best way to describe this radler. Quite a lot of effervescence leading to a thin white ring for a head. Aroma is earthy grains, tart fruit, and sugary milk. The mouthfeel is thin bodied, almost spritzy, with above average carbonation. The flavour is milky and fruity all at the same time. Not an enjoyable radler by any stretch. |

764 | Prince Edward Island After Hours Series Raspberry Sour | Canada | Wild Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 473ml can
5.0% ABV
LCBO Outlet # 010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada - Summerhill)
April 29, 2020
$3.70
Date code is unreadable and brewery never responded to my email. The beer pours a floatie-induced hazed light copper colour with a generous bubbly white head which is gone within seconds. The aroma is tart raspberries, some funky grains, and a weak note I’ve never smelled before, although it’s a pleasant one. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The tartness of the flavour doesn’t match the tartness of the aroma, but it is still there. Nothing offensive about this beer, but it doesn’t replace a good Flanders Red or Oud Bruin |

765 | Muskoka Moonlight Kettle Series 2020 - 04: Late Bloomer | Canada | Kölsch | 3.7
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 473ml can
5.0% ABV
Best Before: July 19, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
April 29, 2020
$3.95
The beer pours a deep translucent ruby red with an uneven rocky film for a cap. The can says ‘Kolsch’ on it, but the aroma on this baby is very un-Kolsch like. A lot of tart berry notes and funky grains to be noticed. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with lively carbonation. The flavour leans more to the elderberries than the blueberries, but there is no tartness in the flavour. Finish is lightly bitter. Very good beer, but still wouldn’t be a favourite. |

766 | Whitewater Brewing Blood Moon | Canada | Wild Ale | 2.6
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 April 29, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
473ml can
4.8% ABV
Canned On: March 16, 2020
$3.25
This beer pours a translucent golden orange colour with a huge bubbly cap that acts like a soft drink and is gone within minutes. Not even a film on top. The aroma is tart orange, sour grains, and weak musty hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavour is tart orange soda with a hint of alcohol. Drinkable for sure, but not very beer like. |

767 | Louis Cifer Coconut-Lemongrass Thai-PA | Canada | IPA | 2.6
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 473ml can
6.5% ABV
Canned On: January 13, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
April 30, 2020
$3.35
The beer pours a translucent golden red colour, with a decent sized bubbly light tan coloured head that lasts a maximum of two minutes. The first thing I smell is lemongrass followed by hints of coconut, wet grass, and light musty hop notes. The lemon grass almost gives it a shoe polish kind of nose. Not a good sign if you want me to drink your beer! The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The combination of the lemongrass and coconut give the flavour even more of a furniture / shoe polish note. They don’t meld together at all in this beer. |

768 | Sleeman Golden Festbier | Canada | Marzen / Oktoberfest | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 473ml can
5.8% ABv
Bottled On: October 3, 2019
LCBO Outlet #568 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Atrium On Bay)
May 11, 2020
$8.95
The beer pours a translucent orange-gold with a huge frothy off-white head which takes a couple of minutes to disippate, and leaves good lacing. The aroma is grassy malt, noble hops, yeast, and a hint of caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grassy, with light notes of caramel giving way to a bitter hoppy finish. This is a very good local Oktoberfest beer, and the finest Sleeman beer I’ve had. |

The aroma is dinner rolls, earthy hops, and a slight yeasty smell. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, slightly under carbonated. The flavour is grainy malt, a slight sweetness, and finishes with a mild bitter finish. A good beer. |

770 | Waterloo Brewing Radler (Raspberry) | Canada | Fruit Beer | 2.6
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 May 26, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
473ml can
2.5% ABV
Canned On: February 11, 2020
$2.85
The beer pours a translucent light rust colour with a short-lived generous head that quickly recedes to patches of white on top. Aroma is raspberry, fresh bread, and some tartness. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied, carbonation is below average. The beer was canned 3 months ago, so maybe a little less than fresh. The flavour is all about the fruit, and there are few, if any, hints that there is a beer base involved. The fact that ‘beer’ is the first ingredient is in itself scary. The pineapple radler will come later. |

771 | Waterloo Brewing Radler (Pineapple) | Canada | Fruit Beer | 1.9
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 May 26, 2020
LCBO Outlet #649 (Milton, Ontario, Canada - Sobey's Plaza)
473ml can
2.5% ABV
Canned On: January 28, 2020
$2.85
The beer pours a translucent pale yellow, and I can’t emphasize the word ‘pale’ enough. Quite a bit of effervescence, yet no real head, just a white film. The aroma is pineapple, pineapple, and more pineapple. The mouthfeel is thin and carbonation is high. The main thing you taste is pineapple, but there are some hints of grains on the back end. This is more of a pineapple soda with alcohol than a radler and would get a better score if it was marketed as such. |

The aroma is fresh bread, earthy hops, and yeast. A clean aroma bill. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is well balanced between the bready malt flavours, and the light bitter hop finish. An enjoyable light lager. |

Lacing is minimal down the glass. Aroma is wet grass, tropical fruits, and citrus. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is similar to the aroma, very fruity. The finish has almost no hop bite whatsoever. Very easy to drink. |

The aroma is very citrusy, in a tropical fruit sort of way. There are also notes of grains and earthy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation.
