November 23, 2019
LCBO Outlet #010 (Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Summerhill)
473ml can
6.0% ABV
Canned On: September 24, 2019
$3.25
First off, I want to say that there are too many wild ale/sour ales/goses being made by Ontario brewers. It needs to stop! The beer pours a highly hazed pinkish-gold with a very short lived white head. The aroma is yeast, grass, and tart cranberries. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is primarily on the tart side with some weak grains. While the flavour is tart, it doesn’t scream cranberry to me.

The aroma is coffe, roasted malt, nutty malt, and vanilla. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly creamy, with average carbonation. The flavour is definitely iced coffee and roasted malt with hints of vanilla and soy sauce. The finish is a little more bitter than anticipated. Not a bad beer, but too bitter for my liking.
