627 | Cameron's Rye Pale Ale / Cameron's Recollection Rye Pale Ale | Canada | Rye Beer | 4.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 550ml draught
6.6% ABV
C'est What? (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
June 15, 2012
The beer poured a hazed dark gold with a 1" foamy light tan head. The aroma was strong citrus hops (I could smell them while the beer was 3 feet away from me), some grains (although not very rye like), and some spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is heavy on the grapefruit flavours with a nice malt balance, and some zestiness. I can see why this is being hailed as one of the best IPAs in Ontario. |
