The beer poured a solid coca-cola colour with brown hues and a thin tan head. The aroma was citrusy hops, roasted malt, and some metallic notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation (considering that many people claim to have flat bottles - mine was pretty good for carbonation). The flavour is citrusy hops, grapefruit, and roasted malt character and nuts.

The beer poured a pitch black colour with a 1" dark brown head that stuck around. The aroma was roasted malt, vanilla, coffee and molasses. The mouthfeel was creamy and full-bodied with good carbonation. Flavour was coffee, molasses and a hint of smoke. Well worth it.

The flavour on the sweet side with notes of caramel and molasses, and a spicy hop bite.

The beer poured a beautiful translucent red with a thin tan coloured ring for a head. The aroma consisted of some sweet malt, citrus hints, and grains. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was a decent balkance between the sweetness of the malt, and the mild grapefruity tasting hops. The hoppiest altbier I've ever had.

The mouthfeel was full bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was roasted malt, lots of coffee, and a splash of vanilla. The best Nickel Brook beer I've had to date.

Not even close to the copper colour mentioned on the menu (although the accompanying menu picture was close to what was in my stein). The aroma was grains and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, citrisy hops, and anise. Eventually the taste was the same as the smell of shoe polish.
