The beer poured a hazy golden orange with a huge rocky light tan coloured head. The aroma was mainly citrus hops, with a hint of sweet malt and grass. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was very much grapefruit hops, with sweet malt in the background. A nice bitter finish.

The flavour was more pronounced in the molasses direction with the coffee tones taking a back seat, but still there.

Beer is a paler gold colour, and all traces of the lemon are gone. The bottled version would make a great session beer.

Flavour also consisted of some grass, and citrus.

Great tasting beer, without being sickly sweet.

A very good beer, although the bitter finish was on the 'dry' side.

I've generally enjoyed Church-Key brews, but this isn't one I dig all that mightily!
