The flavour was citrusy hops, with some acidic notes in the finish.

It's a golden red, clear, with a creamy head. The aroma is dark malt, some hops, and some caramel. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and medium carbonation. The flavour is reminiscent of an English Pale Ale more than a porter with a less roasted malt profile than I would have expected.

The flavour was sweet roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, butterscotch, a bitter finish...and alcohol.<br> <br> Without the alcohol aroma or taste, this beer would have scored higher. It's not a lot, but it was definitely noticeable in my sample.
