I am going to go with Double IPA because otherwise, this is the most transparent and hoppiest Dubbel I've ever had.The beer poured a translucent amber colour with a long lasting light tan head. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is a sweet citrusy IPA with a huge punch of grapefruit flavour. Best beer of the afternoon.

Blueberries dominate the aroma, a good way. A little bit of sweet malt and not a lot else. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour definitely has hints of Scotch Ale in it as there is a definite molasses note, some sweet malt, graininess and a hint of blueberries. By the end of the beer, the alcohol was definitely noticeable in both the aroma and taste.

The aroma was strong citrus hops (I could smell them while the beer was 3 feet away from me), some grains (although not very rye like), and some spices. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is heavy on the grapefruit flavours with a nice malt balance, and some zestiness. I can see why this is being hailed as one of the best IPAs in Ontario.

The aroma was grainy malt and ginger. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was very gingery, reminiscent of a ginger snap, and peppery. There was some grainy malt in there as well, and not a lot of bitterness.

The flavour was sweet malt, caramel, molasses, some yeasty notes, and a bitter finish. I enjoyed all but the aftertaste.

The aromas were grtass, citrusy hops, spices, and orange peel. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was definitely on the bitter side with very little sweetness brought on by any of the malt or fruit aromas. Generous amounts of orange and grapefruit and a sharp bitter end dominate the flavour. Would be a very sessionable beer had it not been for the bitter aftertaste.

Flavour is sweet malt, some caramel and grainy notes. Not much in the way of bitterness until the very end.
