The flavour was roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Quite good, but not great. The barrels lended very little to the flavour.

Flavour was quite dry and licoricy for a porter. Bitter coffee, alcohol and roasted malt are the dominant notes. The aftertaste suggests that this was a barrel aged beer.
