Quite good as there is a definite Belgian dubbel flavour.

Alcohol is the firest thing I taste followed by some sweet fruit notes, yeast, and spices. Over the course of the hour, the alcohol does become less noticeable.

I was expecting more, but then I was disappointed by RTed Racer as well.

The flavour is better than the aroma with grainy mnalt and a slight hop bitterness, still not as bitter as the description on the can would suggest

The best Church-Key beer I have had in ages.

The best Altbier I've had to date.

As with a previous rater, not tasting any spruce here.

Not much rye character in this beer. More like a brown ale gone wrong.

The flavour is all over the place, there are peaty notes, molasses notes, gingerbread notes, fruity notes, and alcohol notes. Liquid Christmas Cake. It's just not for me.
