1784 | Southern Tier Imperial Mokah | United States | Imperial Stout | 3.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 650ml bottle
11.2% ABV (as written on the bottle)
King/Spadina LCBO Outlet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
November 2, 2012
Pours a very dark coca-cola colour with absolutely no head. Aroma was sour grains, sweet pumpkin, and plenty of spices. The mouthfeel is medium-full bodied, slightly creamy, with medium high carbonation. 1790 | Mill Street Ambre de la Chaudière | Canada | Biere de Garde | 3.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 341ml bottle
7.0% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
October 13, 2013
This is an ugly looking beer. Looks like an unfiltered dark apple cider. It pours a very hazed golden-brown with no head. The aroma is yeast, apples (maybe the cider comment isn't off the mark) and some grains. I don't get any of the funk associated with Biere de Gardes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour has the funk I was missing in the aroma, with yeasty notes, and hints of apple. |

The aroma is honey, light fruit, and grains with no noticable alcohol notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour is grainy with noticeable alcohol bitterness. Takes a decent beer and knocks it down a notch or two. |

Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 473ml can
3.5% ABV
Milton LCBO Outlet #1
October 11, 2012
The beer pours a very very pale translucent gold, with a very thin white ring for a head. The aroma is weak grains, wet metal, and weak hops. The mouthfeel is watery, and medium high carbonation. The flavour is not much more than swill flavoured water. This is to be avoided at all costs, even if you're the designated driver. |

The aroma is pumpkin, spices, and wheat. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is more wheat and spices than pumpkin. While the first couple of Beau’s beers I tried were very good, the others haven’t lived up to the Ontario hype, certainly not at their price point. |
