The flavour is roasted malt, smoked wood, coffee, and anise. Finish is very bitter, almost rubber flavoured. Alcohol was well hidden, but not what I was expecting, and quite a letdown.

Lot of dark fruits and yeast in the mouthfeel A good beer. I can only think that the barrel aged versions are better, but this is very good..
