Some sweetness up front, and a lot of graininess and acidity in back.

It pours a translucent dark brown colour with a huge bubbly light brown head which lasts. The aroma is caramel, roasted malt, weak dark fruit notes, and floral hops. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is caramel, roasted malt, yeast, burnt wood, with an oily bitter hop finish.

The flavour starts off with light caramel, followed by some acidic notes on the tongue, leading into a mildly bitter finish. Can’t wait for the Woodhouse Light now. Yum…yum!

The flavour is hard to define. There are some light grains, but the cherry flavour is earthy and bitter more than it iss tart. My least favourite Woodhouse brew yet.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, and well carbonated. The flavour is burnt sugar, grains, light anise notes, and dark fruit. This Trappist ale needs a bit of work!

The flavour was similar to the aroma in that it was very malty with very little other discernable flavours. This beer is readily available in Canada, but is simply an average brew at best. Not something I would consider buying again

This was the first beer I ever tried. It is an alright beer to grow your chops on. This beer is a golden colour with a white head that lasts a while. It has a smell of malt and corn. It has a decent taste replete with a strong aftertaste. It has a very crisp mouthfeel with the right amount of carbonation for my palate. I think the best memories I have of this beer are all those commercials in the 80s that had bikini clad women.........what man with a beer belly doesn't like bikini clad women?

The aroma is cereal grains, citrus, tropical fruit, and some floral hop notes. The mouthfeel is full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is a light mix of sweet caramel notes, and bitter citrusy notes. You cannot taste the alcohol, but you can feel it going down. Another good beer from the fine folks on the QEW.

The flavour is well balanced between the caramel maltiness and the citrusy bitterness. Definitely some grapefuity notes on the tongue.

The flavour is nicely balanced between the citrus and grass notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Finish is mild, not very hoppy.

The aroma is bready grains, lots of orangy citrus notes, and yeast. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is not to my liking. It tastes like a weak iced tea with cereal malts mixed in. A bit overpriced at $3.15 for a 355ml can if you ask me (and you may not be aware of it…but you did ask!)

Tasted better than I thought it would, but far from something I would drink regularly.

There were some weak grains and a light bitterness in the taste, but for the most part, it tasted like sandy beachwater from Canadian Maritimes.

The flavour was watery as well, again water with a little bit of artificial beer taste added. I have to admit, while there was nothing spectacular about this beer, it went down very fast.
